As ever, Monday and Tuesday are my days off so the studio is closed today. I'm contemplating remaining closed until Friday, and working from home as the grounds etc are closed to the public but I'll update on that.
Meanwhile, here's a few pics from my recent visit to the Andrew Carnegie Birthplace Museum and St Margaret's Cave in Dunfermline.

Back to work today and what a gorgeous day it was too! It was lovely to see so many people out and about enjoying the estate and gardens.
Spent most of the day de-cobwebbing 🕸🕷(they play more ferociously when I'm away!) but I did manage to finish this wee stool off. An original decoupage image and some hand painting and blending give it a really whimsical look.

Lovely - if a little damp in places - wander around Glenwhan Gardens today. It is well worth a visit. The gardens are beautiful, there is also a tree trail and an arboretum with over 160 tree species. For someone who spent a large part of her previous work writing about trees and forestry, this was such a treat. There were also several stunning sculptures along the way.

I'm busy working on a large amount of storage boxes of various sizes at the moment. Hence I get so engrossed and forget social media altogether! If I'm on the ball I schedule posts but more often than not that doesn't happen!
