As we watch the news of the devastating earthquakes in Turkey and Syria, our hearts go out to the people who have lost loved ones or have been injured and the thousands who now find themselves homeless in bitterly cold conditions.
Within our wee town we have several families whose loved ones have been directly affected and it is a very worrying time for them.
Of course people can donate to the Disaster Emergency Committee or Save the Children but can also make a donation
at Mario's Takeaway or at the Lossie Barber's.
Eric, Ali and Kazim have family and friends who live in the epicentre of the quake and they are desperately trying to help in any way they can.
Both businesses have collection boxes for anyone who would like to make a cash donation towards the appeal.
We can only imagine how worried they must be as they await further news. ❤️
