Really pleased to have been invited to have our film BOOTED shown as part of the inaugural South West Independent Film (SWIF) Homegrown Cinema Showcase. Alyn's going up to take the introduce the film and take questions after they've all been shown.
The event's on the evening of 27th August at St Anne's House in Bristol - ticket booking details (including a PWYC option) are in the first comment if you fancy going.

We got another one! Our short film, BOOTED has made Official Selection for RS Film Fest. The actual event is in Bristol in November, and they're still to judge the semi-finalist and finalist awards, so we might do better yet, but it's still nice to get some more recognition for our work.

Really pleased to get our first set of festival laurels for Booted. Thanks to Folkestone Film Festival for the Hono(u)rable Mention. If anyone's in range of the Silver Screen Cinema Folkestone, it should be a good night on the 26th - apparently tickets are available later in the month.

Had a bit of fun this morning making a wide poster for our short film. It's released on Sunday afternoon on our Vimeo channel if anyone's interested.

Booted takes the form of a parent's message to their child, narrated while remembering the course of their life via the medium of their footwear. It was filmed in 2024 across various locations in South West England, and rooted further in the region with contributions from BOVTS graduate actor Olivia Edwards; Exeter singer-songwriters Sound of the Sirens; and Devon-based voice-over artist and actor Simon Alison.
