Although Island Bakery is best known for its traditionally made organic, all-butter biscuits, made with wheat flour, did you know that we also produce a range of organic, vegan and gluten-free cookies under the Sweet FA Gluten Free brand? Pioneered by our chief biscuit engineer, Fiona Aitali, who was diagnosed with coeliac disease some years ago, the range aims to create gluten-free biscuits that anyone can enjoy.

The whole town is buoyed by yesterday’s royal visit. We were sorry not to be able to meet the Prince & Princess of Wales ourselves but our family at Isle of Mull Cheese did, as well as nephew Tom Reade, of Designing the Hebrides fame. Tom is working with Banjo Beale on a refurbishment of the local hall. He even got William and Kate to help him with some of the work!

We hope the royal couple enjoy the rest of their time on our island .

It was a pleasure to be involved in yesterday's Tobermory Producers Market, showcasing our spirit, cheese and meat, and talking about what we do here at Sgriob-ruadh Farm with the Prince and Princess. The Prince tried our Wheyski - an oak aged whey based spirit made from milk with zero waste. It was a great day spent alongside all the other amazing local producers.

Lots of people talking about our Lemon Melts here 🤗🫣 Mostly good comments thank goodness!

Earlier this week someone said they wished there were more lemon-based biscuit options. I can recommend these. Quality biscuits from the Isle of Mull. I found them in Waitrose.
