I'm back at Yamas, in Looe, this weekend.

One of the things I love about playing upstairs is that it feels like you've stumbled across a hidden lounge bar you'd expect to find on holiday.

While the restaurant downstairs is busy serving exceptional food, upstairs has its own atmosphere entirely. Comfortable seating, fantastic cocktails and a soundtrack of nu-jazz, broken/afro beats, soulful grooves and nu-disco drifting through the room.

It's not a club night, and it's not your typical pub atmosphere.

It's somewhere to settle in, sip a cocktail, order some food, catch up with friends and let the evening unfold naturally.

If you're looking for something a little different from the usual weekend routine, come up and say hello.

I'll be behind the decks providing the soundtrack.
