I’m not gonna beat about the bush here, we have the best audience of any open mic in the area. Week after week The Cider Press - Plymouth fills up every Wednesday with drinkers ready to hear some live music.

But what has been happening is that me and Craig J Leeper get all the glory and enjoy all those Drinkers dancing away and having a good time. This is not because we are hogging the limelight but because we are only getting two or three acts each week!

So we need more performers at the only open mic where the host can actually book you in for gigs at cider press and other venues across Devon!

If i haven’t seen you play this is a perfect opportunity to grab some gigs especially with 2025 doaries about to open. If i have seen you play, come and remind me why i should be booking you!

But tonight is the turn of open mic. There will be music, there eill be alcohol, there will be at least one member of the bar team taking the p**s out off someone (prob me) and there will be my stupid ramblings/banter!
