Had a great meet up with Tim from Recording The Masters yesterday. Really enjoyed chatting about what we do, and of course recording to tape. RTM is a fantastic company who manufacture new tape. Huge respect to Tim the company rep to get in touch and make time to call in person, valuing the smaller studios in the world. Absolute pleasure to have him call in and he was very kind to give us a sample and some freebies :)

Not that many will know but, we do have a 16 track and 2 track reel to reel and a 4 track cassette that we mainly use personally. The modern urgency to get things down and done means it's not always an option to record to tape but Tim and I discussed ways to include tape in the recording process and still keep sessions within budget. It's such a magical recording format and process, and we'd love to get some sessions going using tape so if you're interested let us know :)
