🎣 🏴󠁧󠁒󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿 Milo Cup today at the beautiful Redhill Fishery, firstly massive thanks to all the sponsors Preston, shimano,matrix, guru-mainline, Milo and VDE for for putting on a mega event covering the pegs fees and some great prizes, Also huge shout to Andy Neal for putting On a amazing show yesterday for us in the SW πŸ‘πŸ‘.

Onto the fishing, the whole complex was been used really fancied a draw on Pennys lake to win the match outright. Ended up on Mollys peg 8 which isn’t the best with the wind off the back, but you never know with that place can always throw up, started short with pellets caught one carp but was getting linered In 3ft so was in the edge after 15mins and had them tailing in 18” but they was so hard to catch so many fish in the peg. Had about 20lb afrer an hour decided to go shallow caught odd ones but wasn’t great and was falling behind rapidly by those around me, never felt like shallow was going to go so had a re jig plumbed a different line in edge last 2hours been good caught some carp but knew deep down falling behind early would cost me ended up with 161lb which won the section by default as Tony on 17 won lake with 187. Where he narrowly ended up 2nd overall, but the main accolades go to the big man Andy Neal winning with 189lb from Pennys lake, well done champ awesome.

Edge work I’ve fed Sonubaits meaty mussel groundbait with 2mm fin perfects 50/50. 6mm Sonu pro expander hookbait πŸ”₯.

Rig: 15 hollo through short kit, 0.21 mainline 4/14 carp XS float 4” 0.17 12 XSH hook.
