Why am I doing this.....?
That's what I was thinking for the first 3km yesterday running in the midday heat and uphill. Then I reached the tunnel and the ground levelled out and I felt I could actually run. I relaxed into the motion and even started to enjoy myself.
I know that getting started is always hard, even the warm up with my running group feels uncomfortable and it hurts. Once my body accepts that it is going to move it seems to know what to do and settles into a rhythm.
Is that the same challenge you face when you have to start something new, move in a different direction. getting started the is hardest part, once you are moving things will fall into place. I rely on my running coach to give me the confidence that I can do this, I can be your coach to help guide you through those new steps, or to retrace and rebuild your steps.
If you are facing a challenge, a new direction or need to change, lets's chat and discuss how I can help you and support you through those first steps into your new run.
Book an initial call and let's start planning. https://bit.ly/3Hu2Qw4
This photo was taken on Sunday at the Bath Tunnels event, my daughter ran the half marathon and I ran 10k.
