🚨JUNE UPDATE🚨

Good morning folks...June has been and gone and I haven't given you a new video, truth being is I've struggled to get motivated into getting out to film, it's been a very warm month down south and I've just not been in the right frame of mind to get into it and I've had quite a busy month just doing other things.

I've also rekindled an old love over the last few weeks and that's gaming...one game...World of Warcraft. I used to play this a lot....like seriously a lot years ago and have gotten back into their Classic version of the game. I'm really enjoying it.

I've a question for you though regarding the channel. Should I remove memberships. I personally don't think I put out the content to justify having memberships, I just don't like the idea of you good people paying for something your not getting, I know I don't promote memberships so it's a take it or leave it channel option but I just found myself thinking about it the other day. Let me know in the comments.

When the weather cools down I'll get back on board with the folklore stuff. In the meantime, stay safe folks. πŸ–€

Goooood afternoon folks, just wanted to mention another YouTube channel I watch that isn't paranormal related. Don't know how I forgot this one as I've been following him for quite a few years.

I love extreme weather videos and as far as I'm concerned this guy is the best at what he does. His channel name is Pecos Hank and he's a storm chaser in the States.

I really enjoy his videos for these reasons and it's much the same reason why I watch honest paranormal teams. He's calm and doesn't shout and jump up like a lot of YouTube clowns. He's a musician and creates his own background music for his content. He knows his stuff as far as extreme weather goes and how it creates tornadoes and supercells and even though he shows the extreme and dangerous side of mother nature he has an incredible knack of still making it look beautiful.

I've never seen a tornado with my own eyes and some would say you probably should want to but I'd seriously love to, years ago I even looked into a storm chasing holiday in the States but couldn't afford it but one day I would absolutely love to and get the chance to finally see a tornado in America in the flesh.

Until then I'll just keep watching Hank. πŸ™ŒπŸ»

Hey folks, just wanted to let you know (if you didn't already know) I have another small YouTube channel where I grow hot chilli peppers in my very small south facing rickety back garden.

I've had this channel for about 3 years and I'm now in my 5th year of growing these fiery little buggers. I'm definitely not an expert in growing them but I just enjoy the long process of nurturing them from seed to eventually picking the pods months later.

Over the years I've made some deliciously spicy Hotsauces from the varieties I've grown and from some I've bought.

If you're interested in joining me on my hot pepper journey then come and join me on my YouTube channel "The Chilli Northerner" which to my utter amazement has just passed 800 subscribers.

Here's the link to my channel πŸ‘‡πŸ»πŸ‘‡πŸ»πŸ‘‡πŸ»

An aging Northern bloke living in South England trying to grow chillies in my small back garden, without a greenhouse, I'm no expert but just enjoy what I do and try and vlog my progress through the seasons.

A huge and massive thank you to my highly talented friend Jayne Mortimore, who is a very fine needle felt artist, for creating this superb Zombie Voodoo Doll for me.

Some time ago she created a smaller version of it and a couple of months ago I asked her if she still had, unfortunately it had been sold so I asked her if she'd be to make me a bigger version...and here it is folks, in all of its splendidly macabre magnificence.

I absolutely love it πŸ–€ many thanks m8.

Please check out what she creates on the platforms below and message her for enquiries....

🚨🚨 ATTENTION FOLKS🚨🚨
Good afternoon, I've remembered something I was going to mention in my livestream last week. When I asked you let me know what else you watch on YouTube outside of anything related to the paranormal world, I didn't tell you mine. You see, this is what happens when The Ouija Brothers and Ghosts On Trent invade your livestream...it's all Beardo Gets Scared fault anyway πŸ˜‚πŸ€£ Please check out my other Youtube guilty pleasures below πŸ‘‡πŸ»

A lot of you already know I grow chillies on a small scale and these guys are mostly responsible for my inspiration:

ChilliChump
https://youtube.com/?si=sTdOAI_93o_dhX8C

Khang Starr
https://youtube.com/?si=3XPFzYXf9VWbhIOm

Johnny Scoville
https://youtube.com/?si=3MhZq9kom0Vbx-mB

I maybe 53 years old but I still enjoy a gaming session whenever possible, I've watched these streamers a lot especially when I used to play PUBG and World of Warcraft:

Dr Disrespect
https://youtube.com/?si=MuAJfz7mW4xbSr96

ChocTaco
https://youtube.com/?si=8Y3_EubWi5MHMYWX

TimTheTatman
https://youtube.com/?si=Poo2h-LAZNAqjk41

Once in a while I do like a nice cigar, I also like watching these two channels, I just find them relaxing to watch and I also feel I should be dressed very smartly whilst watching them:

Davidoff London
https://youtube.com/?si=m9k62apyRsyWUneu

Kirby Allison
https://youtube.com/?si=G_YW_Y6ZoyBTZHc5

Speaking of relaxation how about some ASMR. I watch and more listen to these two channels the most. Both are exceptionally good at what they do and I've got to say the creativity that goes into their sets is just unbelievable. I start watching but 9 times out of 10 I'm asleep within 5mins so I don't get to appreciate the time and effort that goes into their creative backdrops. Both channels are quite fantasy based so that's probably why I like them:

Moonlight Cottage ASMR
https://youtube.com/?si=cFU3nSjHM0D3nTDB

Dreamscape ASMR
https://youtube.com/?si=itlyMyVmH2WkXm_a

Most of you will know I'm originally from the North East of England and for me, this fella is hilarious and a good slice of home humour as he's from my home county of Durham, with stealth camping, wild camping and crap takeaway reviews all in one fantastic channel:

The Blot Outdoor Show
https://youtube.com/?si=vh5JV-wCJ55zjgQ8

I watch a lot of other channels but one more I feel the need to mention was recommended to me by Nic from Walking The Wyrd. It's similar to Nick's channel and is quite history and folklore based and hasn't been going very long so please it out, get subbed and tell Jen, Dead Cold Tales sent you.

Thanks folks, cya soon.

Good morning folks....well what a weekend for voice overs and videos that was.

Saturday morning I released my new chilli growing update on my Chilli Northerner YouTube channel then decided for a bit of fun I'd politely replace the legend, Sean Connery's voice over (let's face it, the man is irreplaceable) of the intro to the 1986 film, Highlander.

Sunday I decided to again politely replace another irreplaceable man's voice over, Richard Burton, from his epic intro to Jeff Wayne's musical War of Worlds (all these can be found on Dead Cold Tales social media on Facebook and Instagram.

Then just to round off the weekend in spooky style, Paul from the brilliant Ghosts On Trent invited me to narrate his splendidly eerie short video on a particularly creepy looking capture from their new superb video on The Lady in the Bay Window. Thanks very much Gents, always a pleasure πŸ‘πŸ»

Click the link below and let Paul and Mark know what you think it could be. πŸ‘‡

Good morning folks, after doing the livestream a few days ago my narration was brought up again briefly and I mentioned the very kind comment on from the very talented Hal of Eulogy Media who does a lot of work with me wonderful chum Don't Scare Claire, this is Hal's comment from my last video "The Man Who Cheated the Devil"

"Mark's narrator voice & reverb effect isn't a million miles away from Sean Connery's prologue in the first Highland movie!"

As far as I'm concerned, to be even mentioned in the same sentence as the fantastic actor himself is very humbling but the funny thing is, the original Highlander movie (1986...now I feel really old) is one of my favourite ones of all time with a superb soundtrack by Queen.

So this got me thinking...should I try to narrate this epic prologue for a bit fun?? Obviously it will never be as good as the legendary Sean Connery but I can put my own spin on it....

The link below is the prologue from the original movie.

Watch out....this weekend🀘

Great Queen song from the opening to Highlander from 1986.
