🎙️ This Sunday on African Vibe with Richybongo!

We take you to the heart of the first-ever Filipino Cultural Celebration at St. Michael’s Hospital, Marie Therese House Neuro-rehabilitation in Hayle, held on June 21 with the theme “Panlasang Pinoy.”

The event brought together Doctors, Nurses, and Staff from various ethnic backgrounds, showcasing the rich traditions and cuisine of the Philippines all in a bid to foster equality, diversity, inclusion, and unity amongst the healthcare team.

African Vibe caught up with Ward Manager Jane Gunn, along with Marjorie Zumaraga and Michael Apas, to talk about how the cultural celebration strengthens team bonding, promotes mutual respect, and ultimately supports patient safety aligning with the core NHS values.

🌍 Tune in to hear how one celebration became a powerful tool for bridge building, cultural awareness, and inclusive practice on the hospital ward.
