Sometimes you just need to look up and appreciate what's around you 🌳 🍃.

Sometimes you just need greenery over sea and sand 🌳 🍃.

The RFA Argus (A135) was a unique aviation training and casualty-receiving ship operated by the Royal Fleet Auxiliary (RFA). Originally built in 1980 as a civilian container ship, she served a highly versatile, 40+ year career before being retired and sent to Falmouth for scrapping in early 2026.

Operational History - Falklands War (1982) Requisitioned from civilian trade to transport helicopters for Operation Corporate, eventually joining the military full-time.

Humanitarian & Combat Missions - Provided crucial medical and logistics support in the First Gulf War, the Adriatic, Sierra Leone (during the Ebola epidemic), and the Caribbean (for COVID-19 relief).

Retirement - She was the last vessel in UK service that participated in the Falklands War. Following severe structural issues that rendered her unfit to sail, the Ministry of Defence confirmed her permanent decommissioning and disposal in February 2026.

After Betty's day 2025 it's great to see The Clams at their first sea shanty festival appearance. Amazing performance, definitely need to be on the main stage next year.

As amazing as it is to getaway for a week, you really can't beat the sight of the Coming Home Trees. It's the last hour of the journey and knowing very soon you can have a bleddy pasty 😂.

The Seven Sisters are a series of striking, undeveloped chalk sea cliffs on the English Channel coast in East Sussex. Located between Seaford and Eastbourne, they form part of the South Downs National Park and are celebrated for their natural beauty, rich ecology, and prominent role in pop culture.

Harry Potter fans might also recognise this location from the Goblet of Fire for the landing spot where Harry and the Weasleys find the "manky old boot" portkey..

The Royal Pavilion was built as a seaside retreat for the Prince of Wales (later King George IV).

Transformed in three stages between 1787 and 1822, the palace is celebrated worldwide for its Indo-Saracenic exterior and lavish Chinese-inspired interior. Sold to the city in 1850, it now serves as a beloved public museum.
