Starting a new 80cm x 100cm (31.5” x 39.5”) box canvas, working title ‘The Misfits’. Inspired by the lyrics ‘in a room full of misfits’ from the wonderful brilliant song ‘Long live the strange’.‘ The Misfits’ will depict a combination of strange shaped and brightly coloured Tropical Freshwater Fish. Varieties of fish will include: Big Head Flowergorn, Oscar, Buttie, Midas Cichlid & Arowanas. I think this painting will be challenging and take a long time to create, but I hope to do these magnificent creatures (& the song) justice.
