To celebrate its 40th year, WISE, a campaign focused on improving gender parity within STEM, welcomed Her Royal Highness, The Princess Royal, to the launch of its new Gender Equity Framework for businesses. Hosted at IET Venues (IET London: Savoy Place and IET Birmingham: Austin Court), this is just one example of a business event with social change at its core that can engineer a better world for all.
As part of the Impact of Business Events series, The Business of Events interviewed Dr Laura Norton, Managing Director of the WISE Campaign and Head of EDI at IET, to understand the impact events such as these have and the positive change it aims to inspire.
