After 53 incredible years, we’re saying a heartfelt farewell to Tommy Hughes, our bodyshop manager, as he begins his well-earned retirement 🎉

Tommy started with us at just 15 years old. Over five decades of industry shifts, evolving technology, changing faces and even a changing building, his loyalty and dedication have never wavered 🚗🔧

His commitment is truly rare and something we deeply admire. Tommy has been much more than a manager. He has been a mentor, a colleague and a friend. He will be greatly missed by the entire team, and we’re so grateful for everything he has given over the years 🙌

This month we are celebrating an extraordinary milestone—Tommy, our dedicated Bodyshop Manager, marks 50 years with us! Starting out on the shop floor straight after leaving school, Tommy has worked his way up to lead our bodyshop, making it the success it is today.

When asked what he’s most proud of, Tommy shared, “Starting from scratch to become Manager and running a very successful bodyshop is my greatest achievement.”

Over the years, Tommy has seen major changes in the industry. “Vehicles are like computers now,” he says, “but they’re built to withstand heavy impacts, saving many lives.”

For anyone thinking of joining the automotive repair world, Tommy says it can be incredibly rewarding. “Seeing a vehicle arrive on the back of a transporter after an accident, smashed to bits, and then handing it back to the customer like new—it’s an amazing feeling knowing you played a part in that transformation.”

Thank you, Tommy, for your five decades of dedication, leadership, and skill! We’re lucky to have you on our team. 👏
