KanDao has announced the release of two new 360 cameras in 2023. The QooCam 3 and QooCam 3 Ultra. Due for release in August, the QooCam 3 Ultra has piqued my interest with its 2 x 1/1.7 inch sensors and 8k video recording.

Time will tell whether they have resolved the issues that plagued the QooCam 8k and whether they can improve the software workflow, but I'm very much looking forward to this release.

The new Insta360 One RS camera looks like it could be a useful production tool. Whilst not a fully professional 360 camera, it could prove very useful for use in tight spaces and low-light situations.

Now this looks interesting. A new VR 180 lens for the Canon R5, enabling you to shoot 8k VR 180 content to one sensor.
