In response to concerns raised by the recent Afrobarometer report suggesting a significant reduction in corruption, the Assistant Public Relations Officer of the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC), Sylvanus Blake, has outlined key components of the Commissionโ€™s ongoing efforts.

He emphasized that one of the biggest hurdles in the fight against corruption is reaching the evidential threshold required for prosecution.

Addressing criticisms that the ACCโ€™s efforts are selective, Blake stressed that the Commissionโ€™s mandate goes beyond court action and includes vital elements such as prevention and public sensitization.
