We were contacted by Kenneth Deacon (Deakie) who recognised himself in our 'Parish History Volume 2' book but hadn't been named. He's in the front row, bottom left. His brother Ronnie is also unnamed on page 4, front row, bottom left.

🎃FAMILY DAYHOPPER🎃

We can't help ourselves, we've decided to organise another 2 dayhoppers! 🙈

This time we're going pumpkin picking to Ernespie Farm near Castle Douglas. Tickets include access to the outdoor play area, pumpkin picking, access to the pumpkin carving station and bus travel.

Dates are:

Tuesday 14th October
Thursday 23rd October

Pick-ups from 9am at Kirkconnel chemist, Nith Buildings, Hyslop Street, Sanquhar middle bus stop, bus stop outside St Ninian's Church

Costs: ages 1-3yrs £15.00
ages 4+ £20.00

Work on the hardcore path at the Kirkland will commence on Monday 18th August. Heavy goods vehicles will be using the road up to the Kirkland so please be mindful of this if out walking. Thank you for your understanding.
