Something very special arrived today…

I’m now milling my own flour fresh, in small batches, right here for The Garden Bakery. This means your bread will be made with freshly milled whole grains, not shop-bought flour that’s been sitting on a shelf for months.

✨ Why freshly milled flour matters:
• Whole grains contain the bran, germ & endosperm – nothing removed
• Naturally rich in fibre, iron, magnesium, B vitamins & antioxidants
• Freshly milled flour keeps the natural oils and nutrients that are lost over time
• Supports gut health, heart health & steady energy levels
• More flavour, more aroma, more nourishment in every slice

Most commercial flour is milled long before it’s used, which means nutrients slowly fade. By milling fresh, I can bake bread the way it used to be — simple, honest and nourishing.
