A Fisherman’s Adventure A Fishermans Adventure is a fishing vlog of my journey to catch dream fish in reality 💭🎣🗺️

I'm fishing content creator with the sole goal to inspire people to make dream fishing trips a reality. Breaking the stigma that big game fishing is exclusive to the wealthy. My History:
Fishing obsessed for as long as I can remember and pursued a career with fish. Gaining a BSc in fishery management and aquaculture from Sparsholt college. Since graduation, I've been a fishing guide at the worlds best freshwater fisheries. Most notable achievements being; Breaking the Catmaster company record for the most fish guided in a week on the Rio Ebro (Spain) within 5 months. Guiding 350lb+ Arapaima at Gillhams Fishing Resort (Thailand) on work experience. Started a fishing YouTube channel in 2018 to share my fishing adventures and was employed by a production company as head of fishing production for a wild foods program Fishing The Wild aired on the Outdoor Channel in America in 2022. Now I have turned my focus on producing my own content at A Fisherman's Adventure across social media to catch the worlds most renown game fish on camera on low budget productions.

I blew away my personal best Giant Trevally with this beast.
Catch report:
I was fishing with a PE10 set up, 144lb braid mainline, 200lb flouro leader and a Nomad Chug Norris popper on a controlled drift over an inshore reef. First pop on a long cast as we came up on to the reef and the water exploded, the drag started screaming, first thought was “sh*t that’s a big shark”. Depth was only 3.5 metres so a locked up tug of war battle ensued to keep the fish from cutting me off in the reef. 10 minutes into the fight the fish comes up past the boat and it wasn’t a shark but gigantic GT. Knees went, heart was in my throat. As the fish got closer to the boat, Adam looks at me a says “I think I’ll need hand getting this one onboard”. He gets the tail, I wrap the leader and we hauled the fish in. It went 124cm length and weight was pushing the 30kg mark. A true monster.

I realised later that it was my year anniversary after moving to the Whitsundays and what a way to mark it.
