Cutting it a little fine tonight, because I was waiting for the "Expedition 23" update for No Man's Sky, which is not yet available because XBOX are making developers jump through extra hoops, as usual, so PC and PS5 players have it, but we don't.
But never mind... we can still see what else the NMS "COSMOS" update has in store.

After grabbing a few screenshots and making some rough calculations, I have managed to determine, that the flat roof of the Snackbar in is roughly equivalent in comparative height, to the Empire State Building.
Tonight I will build up to it, using chest-high clay ramps.

Anyone who has seen me play Grounded 2's new 'Into The Abyss' update, will have some idea how terrifying The Pond can be. It's full of koi fish, diving-bell spiders, water-fleas, and... worst of all... **toe-biters**, but...
At the very bottom of the pond there is a laboratory... and inside this laboratory is a door... and behind this door is the drop-off into the The Abyss... a long fall into freezing, crushing darkness full of monsters.

One of these monsters is the Toe-Biter Leviathan
Tonight, 27the August, from 8pm BST, we're going to try to kill it!

I say "we", but it's very unlikely to be anyone but me, since I'm the only one brave (stupid) enough to go into such a horrifying place for your entertainment.
Oh... and by the way... you can't *SWIM* in this place! You need to manufacture a deep-diving suit just to go in there. The suit is necessarily heavy, so all I can do when creepy-crawlies come for me is to lumber away, with big, slow, low-gravity, moon steps!

Thalassophobes might want to sit this one out, as... when I ventured in there for what I thought would be a quick visit, a few nights ago, I couldn't find my way out for almost 2 hours, and by the time I did even I was starting to get a bit panicky and stressed out.

Earlier this week, Obsidian finally dropped the latest update for , and it's a biggie! New biomes, new enemies, new armour and weapons, new building parts, changes to the way the Pneumatic Transit System Works, the return of ZIPLINES!!! Aaaand a while lot more.
So, tonight (Thursday, 13th August), from 8pm BST (Noon PDT) I'll be back in Brookhollow Park, running (and swimming) scared.

I didn't really want to face these new terrifying enemies... and deep, dark waters, without at least one of my buddies to hold my hand, but apparently, they all have... **sigh**... "lives". So, if you love hearing me panic and scream... tonight is sure to be a good one.

This week we're stepping out of our comfort zone, and into a 90s-style horror game, to see if we can get some jump scares out of it.

I mean, it still has an element of humour to it... I wouldn't be playing it otherwise, but I played it for just 10 minutes last night and it scared the crap out of me once in that time, so... should be a bit fun.

Tonight, the Deadweights return to . I don't know for sure, how many of us there will be, but I'll be lost in the wilderness with my best friends, so... I'll be happy no matter what explodes or runs over me.
