Andrew Eales Pianodao has reviewed Angeline Bell's latest piano collections, My Seaside Notebook and My Forest Notebook, from Editions Musica Ferrum! 🌲🕊

He notes My Seaside Notebook's shift into pop, jazz, and modern classical styles, while calling My Forest Notebook "perhaps Bell’s best collection yet" for its beautiful, evocative pieces. Both offer distinctive, well-crafted intermediate solos, ideal for players around UK Grade 3-6.

We are excited to celebrate the 20th anniversary of Oliver Waespi and Beriato Music Publishing.

Hailing from Zurich, Switzerland Oliver studied composition alongside conducting and film music at the Hochschule für Musik und Theater before completing his studies at the Royal Academy of Music, in London. Receiving numerous awards for his compositions, his works have been used at many contests over the years including Swiss National Band events, WASBE World Conferences, European Brass Band Championships, and many more.

His latest work Century Variations is a joint commission celebrating the 375th anniversary of the Stadtmusikkapelle Wilten and the 100th anniversary of the Tiroler Blasmusikverband. Based on Heinrich Isaac's famous song, Innsbruck, ich muss dich lassen (Innsbruck, I Must Leave Thee) this energetic concert work is full of the pulsating rhythms and luminous flow of sound synonymous with Waespi’s pieces.
