A Memorable Night of Masonic Tradition and Family Legacy

On April the 22nd 2025, Kitchener Lodge 3788 held a special Emergency Meeting that will be remembered for years to come. We had the honour and privilege of initiating a young Lewis Mason—just 18 years old—into Freemasonry.

What made the evening especially profound was the presence and participation of his family. His proud father, a Brother of the Craft, watched on with pride as his son took his first steps into Freemasonry. Adding even more meaning to the occasion, the candidate’s grandfather, a long-standing and respected Mason, took part in the ceremony, helping to guide the next generation into the light.

It was a beautiful night filled with tradition, brotherhood, and the powerful passing down of Masonic values across three generations. The atmosphere in Lodge was electric with unity and emotion.

The evening was rounded off in true Masonic fashion—with great food, warm fellowship, and heartfelt conversations among Brethren.

Here’s to the continuation of legacy, light, and lifelong Brotherhood.

A Familiar Face Returns – 14th April 2025.

We were delighted to welcome WBro Clayton back to Kitchener Lodge on the 14th of April for the initiation of one of the candidates he personally recommended to the Lodge. As the Area Membership Officer for the Western Area, his support and encouragement have been invaluable—and we were honoured to have him with us for such a special evening.

WBro Clayton is no stranger to Kitchener Lodge. A regular visitor and strong supporter, he has even taken part in our ceremonies in the past. It’s fair to say the Lodge feels like a second home to him—and we’re always glad to see him walk through the door.

As always, he brought not only his warmth and enthusiasm, but his top-notch photography skills as well. Here he is, capturing the spirit of the evening in true WBro Clayton style!

A Warm Welcome – 14th April 2025.

Just before our initiation on the 14th of April, we had the pleasure of formally welcoming a Brother Freemason into our Lodge as a joining member.

It was a privilege to receive him, and we are honoured that he has chosen to continue his Masonic journey with us. His experience and enthusiasm for the Craft will undoubtedly be a valuable addition to the Lodge.

We look forward to his involvement and to many enjoyable evenings of fraternal fellowship ahead.

Initiation Ceremony – 14th April 2025.

On Thursday, 14th April the Lodge was pleased to initiate another new Brother into Freemasonry during a well-executed and dignified ceremony.

Prior to the ceremony, Bro Lucas ensured the candidate was properly prepared, contributing greatly to the smooth progression of the evening.

We were honoured to have WBro Entwistle back in the chair of King Soloman, who conducted the ceremony with his usual calm authority and precision.

Bro Carl Enion presented the 1st Degree Working Tools and delivered the first half of the 1st Degree Charge, both with clarity and confidence. The second half of the Charge was delivered excellently by WBro Spiby.

The evening was a fine example of Masonic tradition and teamwork, and we extend a warm welcome to our newest Brother as he begins his journey in the Craft.

Initiation Ceremony – 10th April 2025.

On the 10th of April, we were delighted to initiate a new Brother into our Lodge. The ceremony was conducted with great care and tradition, and we thank all who took part in making it such a memorable evening.

The Worshipful Master invited WBro Entwistle into the chair of King Solomon to conduct the ceremony, bringing his usual warmth and experience to the proceedings.

Bro Enion delivered the 1st Degree Working Tools with confidence and clarity, and also gave the first half of the 1st Degree Charge to the new initiate. The second half was ably delivered by our lodge mentor WBro Spiby.

It was a fantastic night of Freemasonry, fellowship, and food! We look forward to walking this journey with our new Brother.

This week, WBro’s John Yates & Brian Canon and Bro’s Carl Enion & Andrew Lucas delivered a lecture about the first degree tracing board.
The WM thanked them for their efforts.

Bro Andy Lucas was presented with his Grand Lodge Certificate by the WM.

Followed was a quiet evening at our festive board and a chat with a prospective candidate at the end.

Our next meeting is on the 10th of March to initiate a new candidate.

Keep your eyes peeled for our ladies evening.
