Websites - I work with an amazing web developer on websites (Amanda) - so no half done /semi-pro /DIY results here! ...I’m very particular. Your website is a key and central online SALES tool so understanding content and audience experience and sales triggers to get results is SO important. Understanding stats, traffic and what these mean in real terms for ROI is what I do.
No point being wonderfully fluffy if your presence doesn’t reflect your business objectives and get the results YOU want. Content management is my area of specialty, watching user habits and trends change, and developing sites in line with clients customer expectations.
Sales tools don’t (always) mean an online shop either! Depending on your market and audience there key elements to consider in the purchasing cycle you can maximize. Online sales are great if you have the capacity to fulfill and to customer expectations. If you don’t, you can do more harm than good and only offers short term results. (Just Saying...I do get sick of the in experienced pop up advice I often see.)
My experience is not text book stuff (although I’ve done the text book)....I worked as a successful Sales and Marketing Manager in the IT industry as it grew for 15 years, BPO (outsourced order fulfillment centre) for 5 years and print /online advertising industry for 6 years before working independently for the last 8 years for many local known independent businesses and supported new business starters.
