After 61 years (two years and 7 days ago), Belgium finally returned slain Prime Minister Patrice Emery Lumumba's tooth!

The first picture is one of Lumumba and the inset is the picture of his tooth (a grizzly souvenir) kept by one Police Commissioner Gerard Soete which he owned up to owning in an interview back in 1999. Later in 2016 his daughter Godelieve shared the info as she had kept back some items that the father had collected during his time as an agent of the state.

Lumumba's family especially his daughter Julian along with many Congolese have spent many years fighting to have this wrong righted and finally on the 20th June 2022, a special ceremony was carried out in Belgium and the tooth (the only remaining item) was returned.

A special service was occured and then the "body"was flown back to Kinshasa. Another special ceremony was held on DR Congo's independence day to coincide with his fiery speech 62 years earlier that effectively sealed his fate against the establishment when he called out the Belgian King for his hypocrisy during the independence handover ceremony at their parliament.

As one who is a keen follower of history, Belgium owes Congo reparations for the terrible deeds carried out by her to the people of the Congo and for even robbing them of such a gallant son of the soil!

Long live a "united" Democratic Republic of the Congo!!

BREAKING: Burkina Faso Opens West Africa’s Largest Natural Juice Factory — Thousands Employed, Farmers Empowered

Burkina Faso is back in the spotlight, but this time it’s not for political unrest; it’s for some exciting progress. The nation’s leading natural juice company, DAFANI, has officially reopened its doors after a significant renovation.

This development has created thousands of jobs, and local farmers are now reaping the benefits by supplying fresh mangoes, bananas, and watermelons to the factory. This initiative is not only boosting local agriculture but also generating employment and encouraging healthier choices by promoting delicious, homegrown beverages over alcohol.

While other countries might be celebrating the construction of 30km roads with much fanfare, Burkina Faso is quietly building its industries and making strides forward.

EX US President Barack Obama Owes AFRICA & LIBYA An Apology:

President Obama reflecting on the past eight years in the White House. Speaking with Fox Network anchor Chris Wallace, he was asked what he considers his worst mistake as President.

He said, "probably failing to plan for the day after. Which I think was the right thing to do in intervening in Libya 🇱🇾 ".

President Obama referred to the capture of Libyan Leader Muhama Gaddafi. Although he said the intervention went well as it could have, he views Libya today as a DISASTER and MESS.

Dear Africans,

Never again should you allow imperialists take down your own sons and daughters of the Land who mean well to you. Learn to stand in guard and support of your Leaders.

Thomas Sankara Predicted the Birth of Ibrahim Traoré

When Thomas Sankara was alive, he knew his life was in danger. His bold anti-imperialist policies and actions made him a target. He understood that one day, the imperialists—especially France—would seek to eliminate him.

Sankara rejected foreign aid from institutions like the International Monetary Fund and the World Bank. Instead, he chose self-reliance, making Burkina Faso food self-sufficient. He prioritized agriculture, turning the country into the breadbasket of the Sahel. He slashed the salaries of government officials, including his own, and lived modestly—earning only $450 a month and owning just a car, four bicycles, three guitars, a fridge, and a small house.

Before his assassination—a plot backed by France—Sankara had already foreseen that the struggle would continue beyond his death. He once said, “While revolutionaries as individuals can be murdered, you cannot kill ideas.”

Today, those words ring true. Though they killed Sankara, his ideas live on—reborn in the spirit and leadership of Ibrahim Traoré, who shares striking similarities with Sankara’s revolutionary vision and courage.

Indeed, they cannot kill ideas.

This is why, as a continent, we must embed African history and liberation thought into our school curricula. Our children must learn about the sacrifices of heroes and heroines like Sankara, Lumumba, Julius Nyerere, Amílcar Cabral, Gaddafi, Kwame Nkrumah, Sekou Touré, and many others. We must teach them to carry forward the torch of economic, political, and spiritual liberation.

It's time to move from his-story to our-story. Only then will we truly emancipate the minds of Africa’s youth and secure real independence—not just on paper, but in practice.

The time has come for us to tear down the artificial borders imposed upon us by colonial powers—those invisible chains that divide our people and weaken our collective strength.

Let every African, whether born in the savannahs of Mali or the coasts of Mozambique, be free to live, work, and contribute anywhere on this great continent without fear, without restriction, and without apology. We are not Ghanaians, Nigerians, or Kenyans first—we are Africans! Our destiny is intertwined.

Kwame Nkrumah once said, "The independence of Ghana is meaningless unless it is linked up with the total liberation of the African continent. Today, we must go further—beyond liberation toward integration. An Africa united in purpose, in economy, in spirit, and in vision is not a dream—it is a necessity."

It is time for Africa to rise to a new level of unity and purpose. We must establish an African Union passport—just as the European Union has done—so that every African can move freely across the continent without the burden of visas or restrictions.

No African should be treated as a foreigner on African soil. Our shared history, struggles, and aspirations bind us far more than borders divide us. An African Union passport would be a powerful symbol of our unity, a practical tool for integration, and a bold step toward the free movement of African people, skills, and ideas.

Let us work towards realizing the dream of Kwame Nkrumah, Gaddafi, Sankara, Julius Nyerere, Amilcar Cabral, Thomas Sankara, and Patrice Lumumba -- a united Africa with one passport, one currency, one army.

For only when Africans can travel, trade, and live freely among one another will the dream of an economically independent Africa be fully realized.

There are no African-controlled military bases in Europe or America. Yet, the United States and Europe maintain numerous military bases across Africa.

A continent of over a billion people, with hundreds of millions of hectares of arable land and trillions of dollars’ worth of natural resources, does not have a single military base in the West. This is part of the reason why NATO, backed by the Obama-led administration, orchestrated the downfall of Muammar Gaddafi. Gaddafi was on the verge of transforming Africa into one of the most powerful continents in the world — with a unified currency, a continental army, borderless trade, and a strong, unified military. These efforts threatened to elevate Africa into a global superpower.

They saw his vision and launched covert operations to destroy it. Obama and his co-conspirators branded Gaddafi a dictator, turned his people against him, and eventually had him killed. Libya — once one of the most stable and prosperous nations in Africa — was plunged into chaos and has remained war-torn ever since.

The West has a long history of eliminating African leaders who dream of unity and independence. They killed Patrice Lumumba, Thomas Sankara, and ousted Kwame Nkrumah. Every African visionary who dared to dream of a united Africa has been silenced. Isn't it clear that the West does not want Africa to progress? That imperialists only pursue their own interests, never ours?

They may send NGOs under the guise of help, but don’t be deceived. Their goal is not to see us united or prosperous. That is why it's crucial we rally behind the AES (Alliance of Sahel States) and support their mission to unite Africa under a shared vision. Because the African Union is a failed institution — dead on arrival.

The AU funds only 10% of its own operations, relying on the imperialists to cover the remaining 90%. How can we expect independence and progress from leaders who answer not to their people, but to foreign powers in Paris, London, and Washington?

We cannot develop Africa with leaders still tethered to colonial masters. It’s absurd that the African Union has a plan for 2060 but no concrete strategy for today. How long should the youth of Africa wait? By the time Agenda 2060 is realized, many of today’s youth will be old or gone.

Let’s act now — or continue to perish at the hands of imperialists.

Inmates In Burkina Faso 🇧🇫 Clean Up The Capital Ouagadougou: An Innovative Initiative for Reintegration

In a groundbreaking approach, inmates from the Ouagadougou civil prison have been mobilized to help clear out drainage canals around the Ouaga I High Court.

This Community Service (TIG) operation, launched on Tuesday, February 25, 2025, by the Ouagadougou Prison and Correctional Facility (MACO), is part of a reform led by the Ministry of Justice.

Under the supervision of the General Directorate of Prison Administration (DGAP), this initiative aims to both improve the urban environment and promote the reintegration of inmates.
