Corporate events take months to plan, their value shouldn’t disappear when the last guest leaves.

We’ve filmed conferences, investment programs, and networking events, focusing on filming content that extends your reach, strengthens your positioning, and drives ongoing engagement.

Our role is to blend seamlessly into the room, capturing the moments and assets you’ll need, from polished speaker clips for thought leadership, to social edits that keep your brand visible long after the lights go down.

When done right, your event footage doesn’t just recap what happened, it keeps the conversation going, builds authority, and works as part of your wider marketing strategy.

What does it take to turn an empty field in North Yorkshire into a cinematic video set?

Start with:
• Medieval costumes
• A roaring bonfire built by a professional Pyrotechnic
• A fire performer
• A cast of unforgettable characters

‘The Ritual of the Accounts’ for Debitam , is the result of weeks of planning, scripting, storyboarding, sourcing every prop, building the set, and coordinating the crew to make sure everything runs smoothly on set.

We shot on RED Digital Cinema cameras, with an assortment of Aputure and ARRI lighting to create controlled moonlight, to shape the scene.

Every frame was deliberately designed to challenge what most people picture when they think about filing accounts.

When a brand needs a bold idea, we know how to bring one to life.

Big impact can come from the simplest setups.

For this product promo clip, we wanted to visually show the hydration element of Protein Works Genesis Hydration, making viewers’ mouths water and build desire for this thirst-quenching drink.

With help from our head of photography Tom Morbey, we used a fish tank, a straw, and our slow-motion camera to capture bubbles surrounding the Genesis Hydration drink. The setup looked silly, but the results speak for themselves.

As with any video, the key is knowing exactly which tools, however simple, will deliver the most powerful result.

The lights dip, the bass drops, the crowd draws a collective breath. Our cameras are already a heartbeat ahead.

Festivals are about feeling. That’s why we choreograph every cut, sweep, and tight reaction shot to preserve the charge in the air. The goosebumps. The chorus. The grin you can’t hide.

📸 Feel it again tomorrow

Overnight highlight reels keep the adrenaline warm while wristbands are still on.

🎬Celebrate it forever

Cinematic aftermovies turn weekend memories into shareable memories.

🎟️ Fill the next stage

Teasers and social edits fuel ticket drops, sponsor decks, and fresh anticipation for the year to come.

It’s why clients have worked with us to shoot festival content since our founding.

Ready to let every moment and every feeling live on? Let’s talk.

Every good project needs a North Star. Something clear and compelling for both the brand and the creatives to align around.

For our latest campaign with Protein Works, launching their new Creatine 360 supplement, that north star was repositioning the product as a seamless part of a broader holistic wellness routine.

At McGill Productions, we find the north star for every project through something we call a 'Truth Hunt': a deep dive into what matters most at the intersection of brand, customer, and culture.

Completing a Truth Hunt means condensing all the pains, goals, and trends identified in collaboration with the client across the three layers into one simple sentence, a core truth, that we share across our teams.

Here's a behind-the-scenes video breaking down how the Truth Hunt provided direction for the Creatine 360 campaign, as well as the Genesis hydration drink

Before we capture the story, we build the strategy 🎬

Every standout video begins long before the first light turns on. We deconstruct each brief to uncover the core truth of the story, then translate that insight into:

• Hand-drawn storyboards: a scene-by-scene roadmap.
• Moving-image moodboards: to lock-in emotion, colour, and pacing.
• Shot lists: so we capture exactly what’s needed (and a little extra), without draining time or budget.

Why so obsessive?
Because if the foundations are solid, we have the freedom to adapt on set and still hit every deliverable, with room for creative surprises that make the final edit even better.

💡 Result:
• Zero wasted takes
• Leaner edit sessions
• Final films that align perfectly with your vision and perform in the real world

That’s the process and discipline clients come back for, project after project, because they know it delivers every time.

We built this entire video before stepping foot on set 🎬

Using tech like and a robot arm, we produced a fun, punchy, and vibrant product film for our longtime client,

Before a single frame was shot, we mocked up the whole thing in pre-production, combining 3D models and design elements to create a detailed 3D previsualisation. That gave Brother a clear sense of the final film and gave us a head start on production.

At McGill Productions, our focus is not only on creating high-quality and creative content that delivers results, but also using cutting-edge technology to do so efficiently. This kind of planning, powered by the right tools, makes our shoots smarter, faster, and less chaotic.

Here’s a short case study breakdown of the production and how it all came together.

After fuelling their community all spring, came back to us with a new challenge, turn a summer line-up of 15 products into a sound-first social campaign.

They wanted to welcome a fresh crowd, people stepping into wellness for the first time, seeking daily balance more than personal bests, so every scoop, sip and swirl had to feel like a sensory experience.

We wanted the campaign to trigger viewers’ taste buds, by making it immersive, refreshing, and impossible to scroll past. That why we built 15 bite-size stories, each driven by its own beat.

Before day one, we locked-in scripts, shot lists, sample soundscapes, and a concept that encapsulated the summer feeling, giving the Protein Works team a clear view of the final vision before any cameras rolled.

In post, we mixed 15 custom soundscapes, made from location audio, foley, drum loops and whooshes, letting rhythm dictate every cut. The result was fast, fresh, and dynamic.

Drip-fed over the summer season, the sound-led series poured in 9 million views and counting.

Our top 3 pro tips for conducting great interviews 👇🏼

1. Make Your Interviewee Feel at Ease

While focusing on getting answers, remember you’re speaking with someone who is sharing a personal experience. Create a comfortable and welcoming environment with approachable body language and allow space for pauses. This will foster better dialogue and openness.

2. Ask Open-Ended Questions

Storytelling is at the heart of every great video and interview. Though you’re gathering information, it’s more impactful when conveyed engagingly. Ask open-ended questions like, “Can you tell me more about your experience with that?” and “What were the motivations behind that decision?”

3. Plan the Structure

Have a clear outline of the structure and themes for the interview. This will guide your questions and keep the conversation on track, ensuring all important topics are covered even if the discussion diverges.

If your next campaign includes interviews, don’t underestimate how much this shapes the outcome.
