COMMEMORATING WORLD SURVIVAL DAY 2025

Many people don't realize that children and young adolescents are prone to su***de, suicidal thoughts and attempts.

May children who have suffered from childhood trauma, poverty, depression, substance abuse, bullying, physical/sexual abuse are at risk of suicidal thoughts and attempts.

We can come together to ensure that our children live in a safe environment of love, care, support, open communication, attention and words of affirmation.

On the 29th of August, we wrapped up our one month skill acquisition training for children and young adolescents in line with activities slated for our Project Shine Right: Champions for a Virtuous Future.

Through out the one month experience, over 54 children were engaged in various vocational skills such as cosmetology, bead making, ICT and hair dressing.

Our learners were able to make unique products such as Vaseline, hand bracelets, neck bracelet, foot mats, liquid soap, disinfectant, typing skills, etc.

EfosaEseosa Children Foundation remains committed to raising future stars who will live right in the society by providing assistance to enable children access the basic needs of life.

Still on Project Shine Right Skill Acquisition Training

We are in the last week of training and our children have learnt so much skill in ICT, hairdressing, bead making, cosmetology and even make up classes.

It's been an awesome experience as kids are engaged and taught how to channel their energy positively to useful things that will help them in future, rather than engage in social vices.

THE ART OF BEAD MAKING
Bead making is the art and craft of designing, stringing, or weaving beads into decorative items such as jewelry (necklaces, bracelets, earrings, rings), accessories (bags, belts, hairpieces), and even home décor (curtains, table mats). It’s both a creative skill and a source of income for many.

Bead making is more than just a craft—it is an art form that combines creativity, culture, and entrepreneurship. It provides individuals with an opportunity to express themselves through unique designs while also serving as a potential source of income and empowerment. With basic materials, patience, and practice, anyone can learn the skill and gradually grow into a professional. Beyond personal use, bead making contributes to cultural preservation, fashion, and even community development. In essence, it is a skill that is both valuable and rewarding.

Our bead making class is making much progress as participants are learning to make different designs of bead jewellery.

HELLO MONDAY
Our Project Shine Right Skill Acquisition Training program enters the third week today. Our learners have been engaged greatly in several vocational skills such as bead making, ICT training, cosmetology and hair dressing.

Our amazing facilitators have equally spared no time in mentoring participants on the importance of knowing who they truly are and learning how to avoid social vices.

The project continues till the end of the month, after which certificates will be issued out to successful participants.
