In continuance of our efforts to empower young children with skills that will enable them live right in the society, EfosaEseosa Children Foundation as part of her Project Shine Right Skill training project, partnered with Mary Beauty and Makeup Salon Otukpo, to empower 14 girls on 3 months internship in hair dressing and make up. The internship which started in August, ended in October 2025.

We are grateful to the Executive Director of Mary Beauty and Makeup Salon for this partnership.

Every day there is a rising statistics of children being involved in social vices. Cases of lying, bullying, disrespect to elders and increasing amongst children, resulting to greater crimes like cultism, internet fraud and sexual immorality.

On the 11th of October, right after our outreach to girls at Fortune Classical College, Oju, we engaged various stakeholders who teach children, particularly teachers of children ministries on the need to urgently emphasize the learning of godly values, morals and norms that uphold a right society, if tomorrow's society will be safe for the next generation.

We emphasized that children today are caught in various forms of social vices such as disrespect to adults, truancy, lying, cultism, internet fraud, sexual immorality and so on...

We urged children ministers to take action by reigniting the need for learning godly virtues, engaging them in open conversations, loving them unconditionally and continuous advocacy to parents, community leaders and other stake holders.

We ended the session by distribution free teaching materials to participants at the workshop. We appreciate the Children Evangelism Ministry Oju Area and our friend, Dr. Choir Ode for the opportunity.

Meet Destiny Friday
One of our beneficiaries for the ECF Education Scholarship fund. Destiny is the son of a single mum who hasn't met his father since he was 9 months. His mother has struggled to meet his daily needs including his academic needs.

Thanks to EfosaEseosa Children Foundation, Destiny now has a chance to attend secondary school as we were able to pray part of his admission fee, thanks to contributions from friends and partners of ECF.

We continue to bring succor to orphans, vulnerable and underprivileged children, ensuring that they have access to basic amenities of life.

It was a glorious time out at Fortune Classical College, Oju as we commemorated International Day of the Girl Child with over 120 girls in the school. Using the theme: The Girl I am, the change I lead, we taught the girls to say NO to gender stereotypes that belittle their potentials and strive to bring change to their community by dreaming big and taking steps to actualize their dreams.

We also shared free sanitary pads to all the participants and encouraged them to take their menstrual health and hygiene serious.

One remarkable highlight of the outreach was over 30 girls commiting to redirect their steps and focus their energy positively in driving change within their community.

EfosaEseosa Children Foundation continues to strive towards reaching the rural communities, ensuring that no child is left behind in accessing information and materials that will enable them live right in the society.
