Just checked the dashboard on Bandcamp for the first time ever, didn't even really know how it worked, or what it was for, but what a pleasant surprise! I don't run the label to make money, I just love putting our music out there in the hope that somebody might enjoy it, but it's so nice to realise so many folk have purchased downloads from us over the past couple of years since our inception. Thank you all so very, very much, you've made my day, even if your purchase was a long time ago. I didn't realise there were so many of you. Cheers.

This latest release from Nocturnal Vectors is an experimental bleep techno track, directly influenced by the late 80s early 90s sounds coming from Yorkshire likes of Unique 3's The Theme, LFO's seminal LFO (Leeds Warehouse Mix), and Ital Rockers 'Ital's Anthem'. We are proud of our Yorkshire heritage at Slippery Jack Records and we hope this track will be embraced as part of that lineage of experimental fusions of dub, techno, house and hip hop.

We live in tense times, some would have you believe we are on the verge of some sort of societal collapse. Is this really the start of the chaos we are led to believe, or are we just being fed lies to keep us in a perpetual state of alarm? This new track from Stone Former aims to highlight and counter the apocalyptic narrative being pushed with the dystopian, futuristic sounds of minimal techno, and tripped out Acid House transformed into one heavy, dark, statement of intent. Instead of looking to social media to see the state of the world, look at the real world around you. There is plenty of love, and there are so many good people. There is hope that things can get better if we want them to.
