People ask us this a lot. Why not focus on one industry? One type of client? One lane?

Because if we did, we wouldn’t have had the opportunity to work on so many incredible projects with so many brilliant people.

One week, we’re helping shape a brand story; the next, we’re building websites, creating campaigns, supporting growing businesses, or bringing fresh ideas to life across completely different sectors.

Every project teaches us something new. Every client gives us a different perspective. All challenges push our creativity further.

For us, variety isn’t a distraction; it’s what keeps us inspired.

At Dark Cherry Creative, we believe that the most rewarding projects are those that create a meaningful impact within our communities. That's why we're incredibly proud to have designed and developed the new website for The Wakefield District Centre for Positive Ageing.

Being asked to deliver this project was a privilege for our team. The Centre for Positive Ageing is dedicated to supporting people to live well in later life, promoting independence, connection, wellbeing, and ensuring that individuals and families can easily access the support and resources available to them.

This project was about much more than creating a website. It was about building a community, an accessible, welcoming digital platform that reflects the organisation's commitment to helping people age positively and confidently.

The new website provides:

✅ Easy access to information about services and support available
✅ Details of activities, programmes and opportunities to stay connected within each other and the community
✅ Helpful resources for individuals, families and carers
✅ A user-friendly and accessible experience designed with all users in mind
✅ A platform that champions positive ageing and celebrates the value of later life

Richard headed over to the Leeds this morning for his regular meeting with our Grafters Group to deliver his member presentation.

The presentation gave members an insight to why we started, how we work, where our name came from and a general look at how we work with our clients. Richard also spoke about the range of creative and digital services we provide, whilst mentioning some of the businesses we’ve had the pleasure of working with within the construction industry.

A great morning of networking, conversations and connecting with other businesses across Leeds and the Gorkshire district.
