We would love to be able to promise you the absolute world, but that's not our job; that's your partner's job. 🤷🏼‍♀️

However, we can guarantee a couple of things when you decide to work with us. 😏

2. Consistency. Not just from us but for your channels, the more consistent, active and strategic your feed, the higher the chance potential clients will see you, increasing your salon's reputation and footfall.

3. Analytics and reports. We don't just want you to see the results but also understand them. We will always schedule a month-end report call to review the past month and discuss the month ahead and what you envision for that month. It is super essential for us to have a good relationship with our clients. Therefore, we want you to be as involved in the process as possible whilst leaving the hard work up to us.

One of the biggest mistakes I see small businesses make on social media is cluster posting. So this consists of posting 3-5 posts in one day or spamming their story and then completely ghosting their page for a couple of days. Not only is this wasting good content but it’s not getting anyone anywhere.

Their pages will have over 500 followers but they will receive 3-10 likes on their posts and no engagement from their stories.

Without clear and strategic posting the algorithm will not favour your content or push it out, and unfortunately not even to your followers, therefore wasting the content and your precious time.

There's always a backstory to a business, here's ours.

Social media was something that we grew up with from a young age so we've managed to learn a thing or two.

We've been managing a client for some time now, to really get a feel of how to best work with our future clients. This has helped us massively understand every little detail and perfect our processes as well as our way of working.

Now to the juicy part, the reason we are here today. Because we've always had an interest in social media and an understanding of how it works, it only seemed right to finally take the leap and start up our agency. As for our niche, which is nail salons, it seemed the right approach coming from an Eastern European background where beauty and nails have been embedded into our lives from a very young age.

As for the future of GAP Media, we hope to branch out into other sectors or however far our knowledge will take us.

Happy October! 🎃

We’re another month closer to the end of the year and autumn time is out favourite time of the year.

If you’re stuck during this time on what to post, here are a couple of ideas to get you started.

1. Welcome October, although this might seem generic, it puts a normal feel to your socials. Your clients and potential clients will be able to see how you’re present in the moment. As for the post, you could take a photo of a hot chocolate and show off your autumn-themed nails.

2. Halloween Teaser, post this more towards the middle of the month. This could include some Halloween-themed nails or your decorated salon

3. Last Minute Halloween Bookings, let people know of your availability for the last week leading up to Halloween and how to book with you. There is always someone who leaves their prep to the last minute, so I’m sure this will get your slots filled.

The 3 most important rules to elevate your salon's online presence.

Consistency has to be the most important one, and a lot of the time, I see salons cluster posting once a week or randomly throughout the month. Without consistency, the algorithm will not push your content out to your followers or possible new followers.

Content is the second-most important one. Although I see salons posting great content of their work, more could be done to engage your audience, for example, through polls and questions on your story.

Engagement is also an important one; the more you interact with your audience, the more value they will feel. Make them feel like you are their friend; reply to every DM and comment.
