Guitar / Studio friends. Just had the Jazzmaster ultra (2021) back from service + ready to move on to a new home now. Lots of other pics / videos. Just message me. This is the top of the range jazz master other than custom shop + has lots of bonkers features, like vintage tap + pickups in series etc. This is noiseless pick ups version not the pro II. Comes with hard case. Never gigged, studio use only. Excellent condition 8/9 out of 10. I even put on the horrifically bright cleaning lights to hopefully highlight anything!

I probably reflect way too much on numbers, but it’s seemingly a way people find out what I do. Granted, most of the credits are from songs I’ve written or co-written, but a bunch of those, I’ve produced too - so if you’re up for mixing / recording / mastering or even song writing ✍️ give me a shout in 2025. Hope you’re all keeping well 🖤 even thinking if anyone wants any advice for something their working on, just drop me a message!? Trying to release the most music I’ve ever done in ‘25 🧑‍🍳

Another new release from the wonderfully, sort of, “anti-polished” Daves! These guys made some of the loudest mixes I’ve ever done here & we added so much saturation & bite to get this p***y, aggressive tone, which hopefully works to suit their live vibe as well 👌🔥🤩 congrats on “Eye of the Storm” out now, wherever you stream your music 🙋 Go check out the Leeds based trio, if you get a chance 🤘

Had the absolute pleasure of trying out these beauties in a Tubetech CL1B. Contrasting to the JJ stock tubes in the newest models, this pairing of the ECC83 + ECC82 (from Philips & Mullard) position gave a slightly more rounded transient translation! Kind of like a good de-esser, with some strong low end consistency. Versus the sharper/detailed JJ tubes with (in my opinion) less thickness. Unbelievable how such a difference in tone can be achieved in the same unit! Thanks to Studiocare for the best results, always!! 👌🤓🧪🔥

My preferred mic set up on guitar cab/combos recently; AEA Ku5a (active ribbon), Shure sm57 & Neumann U67 + a room R88 if needed. Pretty much all basis covered for most tonalities!

This unit feels like an all-in-one solution for quickly capturing something creative. The ability to interface directly with my computer over usb, dial in the analogue EQ and track vocals & DI’s quickly - whilst monitoring via the onboard outputs - means I only need a laptop, headphones and this to get those ideas down, fast. I found myself using this as a live mic pre, EQ-ing my in ears for myself & sending the FOH a pre-EQ insert send, so they can dial it in every night for each venue - whilst leaving my zero-latency analogue EQ intact 🔥👨‍🍳

My Story

Currently private digital/analogue hybrid audio-based studio in Walsden (20 miles north of Manchester & 20 miles west of Leeds), in the Pennine countryside. The recording studio hall aspect is roughly 9m x 8m x 4.5m apex, with ambient reverb great for drums, strings, brass & piano. The studio is annexed to a 4-bedroom house, with gated parking facilities. Featuring some proper over-priced & bargain gear from vintage Neve, Calrec, Apogee, Focal, Neumann, AEA, Fender, Roland, Musicman, Empirical Labs, Marshall, Ampeg & Universal Audio/Teletronix to name a few.
