Posted • “Exciting news! I’m honoured to share that images from the HAND. series will feature at the prestigious exhibition launching in New York on March 7th (Opens at 6.30pm). My debut show in NYC, the exhibition features work by artists whose practice focuses on identity and self-expression. Supporting the work of the Maasai Water Project, HUMANCULTURE has been curated by founder Stephanie Zabriske and proceeds from sale of the works will be invested in the charity’s work in Tanzania.

Join us at the World Trade Centre for an enlightening exploration of human culture through art. I hope to meet you there.

HAND. beautifully illustrates themes of identity, self-expression, delicacy, and strength, reflecting my lifelong focus on the richness of human nature as captured through photography.

She leads the group "Women Journalists Without Chains," which she co-founded in 2005. She became the international public face of the 2011 Yemeni uprising that was part of the Arab Spring uprisings. In 2011, she was reportedly called the "Iron Woman" and "Mother of the Revolution" by some Yemenis.
