✨ From daylight chills to night-time thrills ✨
Alton Towers’ Scarefest hits different once the sun goes down – the whole park transforms under an incredible lighting package that makes every corner glow with atmosphere. 👻💡 What feels fun and spooky in the day becomes full-on immersive at night. Major props to the team for the detail and effort that goes into making the park shine (and shiver!) after dark. 🌙🎃

Oh my spooky season has officially started for us in a fabulous freaky Funtastic filled way at our favourite place Alton towers !
Well it’s no secret scarefest is special to us because of the Fabulous memories we have made here over the years , the energetic vibes on park , the spectacular night rides , brilliant line up for family’s so there something for everyone ! The mazes and scare zone , the decorations all over park really all stepped up to an awesome level this year .

This evening we stumbled across some potentially exciting information for fans. We absolutely loved our visit earlier last month and there looks to be an exciting development in the planning stages with the Town Hall.

A new for 2028 Londinium area, which includes an multi-dimension coaster ( similar to Uncharted and like a certain project Horizon that was planned for Alton Towers) and a new dark ride and haunted house (for Halloween events), alongside a number of other new attractions and food and drink establishments.

To Infinity… and beyond!

Another highlight from our trip to was getting to see the legend that is Buzz Lightyear.

We are all huge Toy Story fans in our house (isn’t everyone?) for years George watched them on repeat and I can often recall the lyrics without thought.

So cool to see and visit the Worlds of Pixar. Not going to lie I wish that one day the slinky dog rollercoaster could come to Paris 🤞

One of the more unusual attractions is Le Carrousel de Cesar.
It’s a classic merry go round with a fun twist, you can sit on a trusty steed, other Asterix characters or do what we did which is climb into Obelix’s trousers and spin round and round!

Alton towers have sent us this exciting update to share - here is a peek at the first official Bluey’s coaster teaser artwork coming in 2026 !

Sabrina de Carvalho, Senior Vice President at Merlin Entertainments said:
“I’m excited to finally announce our new Bluey coaster in CBeebies Land at Alton Towers Resort - the first Bluey coaster in the world.”

“We can’t wait to welcome Bluey fans and young families from all over the world to the resort.

“We’re keeping the exact details and launch date under wraps for now but Bluey’s limitless energy is sure to be reflected in our new junior coaster.”

Natasha Spence, Events Director, Live Entertainment at BBC Studios, said:
“Loveable and inexhaustible Bluey has captured the hearts of children and adults alike all over the world and we are excited that our much-loved brand is getting its first-ever rollercoaster at Alton Towers Resort.

Something magical is rising…
Here is a little picture of the latest visible developments from The World of Frozen which is due to open its frosty gates in spring 2026. Immerse yourself in the heart of Arendelle.
Expect enchanted shopping and dining, royal meet and greets and a nightly spectacular of lights, fountains and drone magic.

This is however more than just the development of the world of frozen and also brings in the new era transforming Walt Disney Studios into the all new Disney Adventure World!

Night rides on Nemesis Reborn 😍
they just hit different 🔥

Those near misses and its lighting package looks incredible and brings the valley to life .

Love how parks and rides can take it to a whole next level on atmosphere and experience on dark winters nights for guests .

Nemesis reborn is spectacular in its clever design , so thankful to John and Bianca that they didn’t take no for an answer and pushed to make there vision of Nemesis reborn a reality for us all to enjoy as a legacy for many more generations to come .

Doesn’t the Ratatouille area in Disney studios Paris look so authentic , so much detail and chefs kiss 💋 pure beautiful !
Of an evening it looks very romantic all light up ready to stroll around.
It’s a great place to take a moment and slow downs , a place to chill with a wine and snacks Or do some Disney shopping for cookbooks , foods , and merchandise ect .

And the dark ride wow ! We loved it .

Disney announced that they have plans to change it to 2D after asking for feedback from guests .
What’s your thoughts is it a good idea to change it ?
