A few new details about previuosly announced forthcoming attractions at Walt Disney World

- Zootopia: Better Zoogether! opens at Animal Kingdom on 7th November. The attraction will feature an all new character, CarrotVision3D glasses, a new non-stinkbug scent and will end with Try Everything

- Nick Wilde and Judy Hopps will meet guests near the Tree of Life in their new outfits from Zootopia 2

- Big Thunder Mountain Railroad reopens in 2026 with new magic added to the Rainbow Caverns. More new magic is yet to be announced. New backstory details unveiled, but no opening date confirmed (yet)🚂

- Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets opens in 2026 with Electric Mayhem playing iconic hits on-ride. First look at updated attraction courtyard and pre-show which'll feature penguin animatronics from Muppet*Vision3D!

- Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin reopens in 2026 with major updates, no reopening date announced. First look at new ride vehicles unveiled

Other attraction details re-confirmed but with no updates

- The Mandalorian and Grogu will join Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run in 2026

- The Walt Disney Studios courtyard and The Magic of Disney Animation experience will also open in 2026

Destination D23 is just around the corner so perhaps we will get more details on future updates and attractions then🤞

Heat Advisory Issued for Central Florida Again today with Heat Index Up to 110° 🥵. A Heat Advisory is in effect from noon to 7 p.m. EDT on Thursday. It includes Orange and Osceola Counties, where Walt Disney World Resort and Universal Orlando Resort are located. If you’re out and about at the parks today - make sure you stay hydrated🧃

At last, decent inflight internet! Virgin Atlantic is the first UK airline to announce plans to introduce Starlink in-flight connectivity. The airline will begin installing streaming-quality Wi-Fi on its Boeing 787s, Airbus A350s, and A330neos from Q3 2026, with the installation expected to be completed by the end of 2027

Buzz Lightyear Space Ranger Spin is closing in August 2025 for MAJOR upgrades including: New Show Scene featuring "Buddy" the support-bot who will help Space Rangers prep for their mission, New Ride Vehicles to include onboard video monitors that show real time scores and gameplay info, New Handheld Blasters offering better aim, constant laser visibility, plus, light, sound and vibration feedback and New interactive targets and gameplay enhancements which are yet to be finalised by Disney Imagineering.
