I've been off my phone a lot this week,
and it reminded me of something I forget too easily.

Becoming isn’t loud.
It doesn’t happen in the scroll
or in the noise.

It’s subtle.
A shift in how I think,
where my energy lands,
what I choose to carry forward.

Most of it happens,
in the quiet,
or with a pen,
finally meeting the truth.

This year surprised me in small ways.
Like how many sweatshirts and hoodies I ended up shooting.
the quiet messages, 

Shoots that somehow carried more than just “products"
And my last project of the year lands in the same pocket,
purposeful,
thoughtful,
rooted in something deeper.

I’ll be shooting for .shop  while I’m in Oz,
a brand built around support, 
nervous system calm,
and the kind of design that actually means something.

It feels like a fitting way to close out the year.
making work that helps, not just sells.
creating with people who care.

And stepping into a retainer that feels aligned,
and just… 
right.

Of all things…
doors.

A new kind of project for me,
and strangely fitting for a year where every lock in my life
seemed to break.
front door, back door, car, van.

As if the universe wanted to check,
how sure I was about the direction I’m heading.

Maybe that’s the point.
Some years make you jiggle the handle,
ask for help,
trust the doors that open without force.

This one reminded me that new work often arrives in flow,
exactly when you’re being nudged into what's next.

clients that land with the right energy,
give me life. 
like a great country song on repeat. 

there's been a few women this year,
that have kept me moving,
reminded me who I am. 

and it's funny...
I used to develop products in this category.
accessories,
apparel and all sorts.

back then it was stress and spreadsheets.
now it's sunlight,
dust,
a horse on a hot day,
and a hat with something to say. 

a full circle moment. 
happy to be partnering with clients that feel like my favourite songs 🤠

There’s something that happens when you take products outside…

they settle into their surroundings,
tell a different kind of story,
more grounded,
more honest,
less look at me,
more this is who I am.

I don’t just place things in nature to make them look good.
I do it to help them feel real.
part of a ritual.
part of a moment.
part of someone’s everyday.
