It’s been such a fun week for Bos Marketing and yesterday was just another fantastic day ✨

I spent yesterday at the stunning Patch for a trial day and thoroughly enjoyed working there, got so much done! Thank you for having me Karley Woodford!

Whilst I was there I also launched my podcast again Be the CEO and had an amazing guest Erin Thomas Wong who joined me and I cannot wait for you to hear her story ❤️ thank you for coming!

Life as a business owner can look different everyday and yesterday I was reminded why four years ago I decided to take the leap and start Bos. I absolutely love what I do and love how Bos is evolving but more importantly I love the value that it’s providing to each business owner I work with even if it’s just a passing conversation.

I hope you are all enjoying the sunshine and try and give yourself some Vitamin D ☀️ we all deserve it!

February round up 💙

February was an interesting month for Bos but we put a lot of work in on the structure behind the scenes, here is what we have been up 👀

✅ We now have a freelancer working for us behind the scenes on our admin
✅ A collaboration you don’t want to miss with - we are getting there with planning
✅ We welcomed Two New Clients
✅ Meetings and lots of networking

As a social media manager I take so much content for my clients that I forget to do my own so note to self for March means more content!

Happy love day from Bos! 💙

I wanted to share one of the many reasons why I love what I do and it really got me thinking.

I love the relationships I have with my clients even when it’s the beginning of the journey. I love finding out what they love and what they want their content to look like. It’s honestly where the magic happens ✨

My job doesn’t feel like a job for me as every day is different and I’m so grateful for Bos each day and the journey we are on 🥂

Like with anything in life, it won’t happen straight away.

Just because it’s social media and the outside world can have the instant gratification of results, does not mean that will happen.

When I speak to my clients whether you’re having a consultation or my client.

I will always be honest but also create a strategy bespoke to you.

I will never promise that your social media will go through the roof in the first month. WHY?

Because most likely your algorithm will need to adjust to your new strategy and that takes time.

As well as consistency, you need to focus on your audience and the relationships you want to develop with them.

At BOS we focus on this! MASSIVELY

When developing a community that will automatically gain you results and the best audience.

However community takes time.

When using social media, be in it for the long run, adapt and change and focus on the voice of the business. It will make you stand out.

This = Results 🥂

I REPEAT Social media is not a popularity contest ‼️

I hear a lot of language mentioning saying I need more following.

The truth is social media is not about the following, it’s about the connection you have with your audience.

For example, if you have a million followers but only a thousand people engage, your audience is not as warm as you think it is.

You would rather have a lower following if you know that all those followers will engage and buy from you than have a high following.

Right?!

Having high following isn’t a bad thing however you want to make sure you have the right strategy in place so you can bring all those people into a community which YOU have built.

Don’t worry about what someone else is doing, this is your business and focus on your goals that you want to achieve.

Community over numbers ANYDAY!

When having a social media presence online we can get pressured to post content for EVERYONE!

Well don’t!

Your social media is like another website with your portfolio of work and not everyone will love it same as a website.

Showing your authentic self is becoming more known on social media… why?

Because people want to get to know YOU!

How did you start your business, where did you grow up, how did you get to where you are now.

It’s all interesting and it’s all your story.

I don’t think anyone can copy that and your audience will value it even more.

I take it we have all seen what has been happening with Tik Tok these past few days!

One thing with social media is it’s constantly evolving! And sometimes we can’t always keep up however that’s why Bos Marketing can help you.

To give you ease in the time of unease.

Some pointers for you…

1. If you are not sharing on multiple platforms - then what are you doing. If you lose the one and only platform your posting on then you have nothing. You need a strategy for all!!

2. Be aware social media platforms will change, for example. Instagram have announced changes, have you seen your grid may look different? Means NEW dimensions for your content so your grid can work with your profile and still look great!

3. There will always be something going on to the algorithms etc and that’s why having a social media expert whether it’s just for advice or the full shabang.

Whatever you need, this can be comforting for your business to have.

Don’t worry. You got this! Social media is an exciting place and as we evolve so does the online world.

I really wanted to document today as it was such an amazing day and already an incredible week!

I had a business strategy session with some of the Ribbons network group and it was JUST INCREDIBLE! I got a lot more laser focused and it was amazing to see what accountability did and it made realize how simple goals can be when planned correctly. It’s just the steps in between.

I highly reccomend surrounding yourself with people that push you but also to build each other up. It might not be the people around you currently but if you step out your comfort zones good things will happen! Trust and lean in ✨

Got back home and now blitzed through another work session with a hot water bottle 🙈

Bos is growing this year I can feel it but also so excited for all the new connections we are making. Grateful 🙏🏻
