🎙️ Breaking News from Watford
Police have closed off a road in Watford.

Following an arsonist who has struck again—returning to the scene for a second time. Police have cordoned off Whippendell Road following a deliberate vehicle fire early this morning.

Hertfordshire Police, in collaboration with Hertfordshire Fire and Rescue, are actively investigating the incident. The targeted car was set ablaze in what authorities are treating as a repeat attack, prompting a road closure and traffic diversion in area.

Officers are conducting door-to-door inquiries, urging residents to come forward with any eyewitness accounts or CCTV footage that may assist in identifying the perpetrator.

A stationary Hyundai car was set alight in Whippendell Road, just after 5.20am on Tuesday 15 July. Although other cctv shows the hazard lights flashing just before 1am.

Whippendell Road was CLOSED between Cassiobridge Road and King Georges Avenue following a vehicle fire, which has been confirmed as arson by Watford police.
Emergency services are attending.
