The UEFA EURO 2020 tournament is in full swing, and it's been a busy few weeks for our technical team, who have prepped 85 ENG kits to cover everything from team bases to fan zones. The kits include Sony Professional Europe cameras and lenses, Canon UK and FUJINON Lenses, Sachtler tripods, Sennheiser audio and Anton/Bauer power.

Ahead of major sporting events taking place this summer, we have significantly grown our already expansive UHD rental fleet with the addition of more than 100 Sony cameras and 160 Canon lenses. As well as allowing us to service the needs of the various delayed tournaments happening this year. This investment – which includes PXW-FX9, PXW-Z450, HDC-3500 and HDC-5500 cameras – continues our longstanding commitment to providing best-in-class UHD technology for our clients.

Due to the current health situation in the UK and rest of the world, we have taken the steps to postpone next week’s HDR event at Wembley Stadium on Tuesday 10 March.

The event will now take place on Tuesday 19 May. If you previously registered, we’ll automatically reserve your place, and if you haven’t, you can do so at esbroadcast.com/events

We feel this cautious approach is the right and responsible thing to do. This will not only avoid the risk of spreading the Covid-19 virus but will also make for the best quality event with full participation from sponsors and guests alike.

IBC 2019 saw us break a GrassValleyLive record with the purchase of 151 LDX 86N camera channels - the biggest single purchase of the camera to date.

At the same time, we have bought 15 Kahuna switchers. The equipment is earmarked for major sporting events in 2020, as well as enabling us to meet ever-growing demand for UHD rentals.
