Pentagram’s is part of the advisory board as a mentor for the 2026 . Fellow board members include educators, curators and designers such as Paola Antonelli, Bruce Mau, Mariam Issofou, Carson Chan and Alice Rawsthorn.
The Young Climate Prize is an award and mentorship program conceived by to support the generation of designers and activists who were born into the climate crisis and are uniquely positioned to address it. The prize pairs young change-makers with mentors in the international design community who can accelerate the impact of their work and connect them with a global network of like-minded people.
25 finalists will win a life-changing mentorship, and three winners will be flown to New York City to share their work and ideas at The World Around’s prestigious Annual Summit.
In 2024, emerging designer (founder/CEO of cleantech venture LightEd, which turns electronic and plastic waste into solar-powered energy solutions for communities that lack reliable electricity) became a Climate Prize finalist.
Stanley then spent a month working alongside and his team at Pentagram’s London office, and was also mentored by Jon and Harry. Since then his work has reached over 30,000 people, including over 10,000 refugees, and trained more than 6,000 young people in sustainability and renewable energy.
