⭐️The task: Create a five-nail design inspired by one of co-founder, Annabel Maginnis’s, dream North American destinations, featuring 50% pink.💖

“I chose Orlando as Annabel’s dream destination because it is my home, and there’s no better place to welcome the ultra girly queen of glitter than the city where magic truly lives. The moment Princess Annabel arrives, crowned in gold and glowing in a glittering gown, she transforms Magic Kingdom into her own pink paradise: trees and foliage bloom into soft cotton candy with every step of her sweetness. Her whimsical energy follows her into Mel’s Drive In, where the retro neon lights shift into rosy tones to match her iconic vibe, and even the classic car views sparkle with her presence. She then drifts into a luxurious iridescent resort, lounging poolside as everything around her is shimmering reflections before she heads to Premiere Orlando, ready to dazzle the beauty industry with her signature Glitterbels glam.

“For my nail design, I wanted to mirror her fantasy world in Orlando, so I created sculpted avant-garde nails with enough dimension to build miniature scenes inspired by her journey. By combining multiple mediums, embellishments, and sculpted fantasy elements, I created a masterpiece that reflects why Annabel would love Orlando: it’s a place where whimsy, colour, beauty and imagination come to life.”

⭐️The task: Create a five-nail design inspired by one of co-founder, Annabel Maginnis’s, dream North American destinations, featuring 50% pink.💖

“I chose Orlando, Florida. For the thumb nail, I crafted a Mickey mouse street lantern. The pointer finger features cotton candy that would be enjoyed at the Magic Kingdom, and a 3D air balloon like the Disney air balloon ride and float. I wanted this to look like it was in the sky, so designed the nail base and tip to the colors of a Florida sunset.

“The middle finger is how I imagine a Glitterbels booth to look like at Premiere Orlando. Annabel’s salon has beautiful iridescent sphere lights, white floral arrangements and pink cushion design that I wanted to bring to life on a nail. The ringer finger is the poolside at a luxury resort and the pinky was designed to the retro vibes of Mel’s Diner. I love the checked pattern of the diner floor, sundaes and the vintage cars. This design was so much fun to sculpt and hand-paint, as I got to use so many different techniques to sculpt Annabel’s dream vacation on nails!”
