PARKING ISSUES!

As has been the case since the start of time, parking is an issue at the Studio. Our wonderful neighbours fill all the customer car park with their broken down, SORN or just generally knackered vehicles and then have a problem when our customers cant park anywhere and put their car in an unmarked bay and quickly get screamed at for taking up a space that no-one knows who it belongs to. Please just do not park in a bay if there is a name plate in front of it or be prepared to move it evenings or weekends if someone asks you nicely to move it!

We can only apologise for that!! If you get any grief from anyone, please message us immediately so we are aware because no-one there has a right to cause anyone grief - all the units are rented and no-one owns them apart from the estate owner!!

We do have our own space for 2-3 vehicles which we are just getting a new sign for (after it was ripped down!) . When you drive up the ramp and go straight up you'll see vehicles parked facing the wall on the left hand side. Our spaces are the second row in, so please try to use them first if you can to lessen the possibility of wonderful human beings giving you grief!!

If only our space looked like this ;)

We promise this is the last update today....:)

We have had a leak in Studio 1 roof (happens every couple of years) but we're hoping the leak has been sealed. We mopped out the outside area and tried to remove as much water as possible so hopefully will dry out fully in the next few days.

If any of you see more water coming in, please let us know

Contacting Whitenoise....

If you are struggling to get into the unit for example and phone the studio number, please be aware that I receive a huge amount of unwanted calls daily, so unless I recognise the number/have it stored I will not pick up...

Phoning 11 times will not make me pick it up sooner (believe you me this has happened!) so if you wish to get a quick response either leave a message on the first call or text the number and I will reply a whole lot quicker...

It's not that difficult..... 😊

Toilets...

So finally found the time to get the toilet situation sorted... We now have a lock on the toilet we have reserved for our customers.. Toilet is near Studio 2....left hand side with our toilet on the right (has the lock on with the code being added to the booking confirmation from today - text the studio number if you need it when onsite and you don't have it)

We have this single toilet cleaned weekly and inside you will find spare toilet rolls, soap and hand sanitizer although there will be soap out in the main toilet but that will, as usual, get used up by the non paying other unit users 🤬

Like always, but if you experience any issues please text us to let us know!

Men... Please be contentious that this is for use for all the customers and will be used by women as well, so have some respect and check your aim and clean up after you if you need to!! Any issues in this area will result in the toilet being for the sole use of the ladies so be warned!

Ladies - I've messaged a few of you already but any ladies who use the studio if you message us we'll let you have the code now :)

Drummers....

This is your final warning..

It's getting very tiring replacing felts, clips, clamps, other parts and putting them back together when you've moved everything around in both the studios on a regular basis...

We now have a broken snare drum mechanism that probably just needed putting back together when it 'fell apart' but instead of doing so and also not being reported we now have a useless snare with no parts visible to fix it...

If you cannot return the drums to a working condition and how you found them we will have no alternative but to remove drums as an option and you will need to start bringing your own if you wish to rehearse with them...

We have tolerated this for a long time now and we know it is not everyone, but can you please just show some respect to the equipment and your fellow rehearsal studio users...

If we do not see an improvement by January 1st we will start changing our terms of use...

Drums in Studio 2

We've been notified (thank you) that the snare stand in Studio 2 has been damaged - We have ordered a replacement but drummers please be aware you may need to bring your own until this is replaced (hopefully Saturday but maybe Monday)

Please also note that whilst we endeavour to ensure all equipment is useable we cannot be held responsible if you arrive and the equipment is damaged or unuseable - we rely on our customers letting us know so we can quickly swap it out.

BOOKING UPDATE

It seems like we are experiencing a booking confirmation issue on the website (an email to confirm your booking was successful) - made some changes today which hopefully has fixed it but it's pretty much 100% that your booking has gone through especially if money has been taken but just wanted to let you all know.

Whilst the image is slightly excessive ;) Please be aware that our studios, including our out of bounds areas and entrances are watched 24/7 by cameras that record and store that info for 30 days and is then automatically deleted.

We want everyone to have a great time using the studios, but we ask that you respect the rules, return the studios back to how you found them and leave tidy for the next band coming in.

We have found in the past few months quite a lot of damage, rubbish being left and things not put back how they should be.

Please work to make them as good as it can be for everyone.

NEW CUSTOMERS PLEASE TAKE NOTE.

When booking for the first time you need to ensure you receive a booking confirmation and more importantly instructions on how to get into the studios as they are unmanned!!

You will receive an email which may end up in your spam folder so upon booking, make sure you check and have that, as turning up without this could lead you literally being left out in the cold.

Also be aware the best way to contact us is either via the page or if you have to, text or call and leave a message.

Hey everyone.

Hope you're all good?

Just a couple of things...

Mic clips - not sure what it's about but Studio 2 seemed to have lost all it's mic clips. Not sure how it would come about but if you took them, please return them..

Recording - if anyone wants to use Studio 1 to record in, please get in touch as I'm opening up the control room for those who want to use it especially if you have your own engineer.

I'll be swapping out my bass amp from Studio 1 shortly so enjoy it whilst it's there! ::)
