🚪 Good to go? The Israeli news site Ynet reports that the EBU has EXTENDED the deadline for countries to withdraw - without incurring a fine - to December.

Usually, this deadline is in October, and countries withdrawing after this deadline are fined by the EBU - we have seen this happen to 🇲🇩 Moldova and 🇷🇴 Romania in recent years. This comes as the EBU member broadcasters are set to vote at some point in the coming months on whether or not Israel should take part in 2026.

🇸🇮 Slovenia, 🇧🇪 Belgium and 🇮🇸 Iceland are among the countries considering withdrawing from the contest next year if Israel is to remain.

It's worth pointing out that the Israeli cosmetics company MoroccanOil is still the main presenting sponsor of the Eurovision Song Contest.
