⚽ Football Legend to Visit Weymouth for ‘An Evening with Harry Redknapp’

Football fans in Weymouth are in for a treat this week as Balti Sports Football Club hosts a special event, “An Evening with Harry Redknapp,” at the Hotel Rembrandt on Saturday 11th October 2025.

The former Premier League manager and popular television personality will share stories from his decades in football, offering guests a behind-the-scenes look at life in the dugout and the dressing room.

Tickets are £60 per person, which includes food live music, and comedy entertainment, promising an evening full of laughter and insight for sports fans and families alike.

The event is expected to attract supporters from across Dorset, with proceeds helping support Balti Sports FC, one of the area’s well-loved grassroots clubs.

Congratulations to Tesco Express on Dorchester Road who have raised an incredible £1888.00 towards Alzhimers Society.

Staff member William Scott who had recently lost his Nan to Alzheimers said:

"I was truly overwhelmed by the generous support we received for our raffle from the community. The amount of money that was put in was incredible, and I can’t thank everyone enough for their kindness and enthusiasm. We had some amazing prizes donated to us — including a once-in-a-lifetime plane ride around Dorset— and I was so grateful to everyone who took part and helped make it such a huge success.

We also understand this has now been topped up to £2,000 by a generous individual from Medisave.

Pip who also works at the store with us has been working tirelessly engaging with customers to help towards the raffle and without her amazing personality and kind-heart, this wouldn't of happened; said William.

This is a Dorset Police officer who attended a property in June. After a malicious domestic abuse report.

After making the mother of children leave the property. He proceeded to disconnect cctv power.

A search of the premises then took place. No warrant had been issued. Police corruption at its finest.
