A tough decision that has actually paid off!! 😮

For those of you who don’t know, myself and Sammy now work from our own homes - the studio on Abbotsbury Road is no more!!! 🥲

Luckily, this makes us both much more productive!! 😂😂

I do miss the office bants, but thankfully we meet up at least once a week for a proper good catch up! 💬

And let’s be honest, working from home does have its perks… no commute, no distractions and nobody stealing your biscuits. 😜

Although I’m pretty sure Sammy still manages to distract me from about 2 miles away! 😂

What an amazing morning we’ve had covering the Dorset Arts And Crafts Association Showcase 2026.

An amazing craft fair, judged competitions, a stack of incredible creativity on show… and a chance to have a go yourself!

Safe to say, Sammy was VERY happy to get stuck in and make her own wooden toy - using a proper saw and everything! 🪚🫣

She’s always been a crafty one, so this was right up her street. And look how happy she is with the finished result.

Abbotsbury Swannery is home to the only remaining managed colony of nesting mute swans in the world, looked after by a small team whose knowledge, passion and hard work is genuinely inspiring. 🦢

Kev was there capturing new staff photos for the guidebook, helping visitors learn more about the Swannery and the incredible people who care for it. I've no doubt we'll also see a few of these popping up on their socials too, which is always a treat! 📸

One of the things we love most about what we do is helping brilliant people tell their stories. Providing organisations like this with the visual tools they need to educate, inspire and showcase the amazing work happening behind the scenes is a really rewarding part of our job.

I also love that you can flick through these and see both sides of the story… the photos the team took of Kev snapping away, and the lovely moments he was capturing at exactly the same time.

And yes… he was very much in his element! 😊

It’s tomorrow!! The very first Harbour Nights Market in Weymouth! 🎉

We've worked with the wonderful Jules on Dorset Artisan Markets and other events for years, so we have absolutely no doubt this latest venture will be another roaring success.

It's always exciting to be involved in something from the very beginning. We've had great fun helping bring Harbour Nights to life – from the branding and posters to the 3 flags now flying proudly by the harbour (we had such a giggle trying to photograph them the other day 😆).

We'll be there tomorrow too, with Kev and his big-boy camera capturing all the action 📸

If you're local, do pop along and show some love for this fantastic new event. You'll find around 40 local traders from the Pavilion along Custom House Quay, all set against the backdrop of our beautiful harbour. See you there hopefully! 😀

This is one of the best bits of what we do – getting out from behind our screens and spending time with the people we work with. 😊

Just look at Kev's happy little face! First with Steph and Cazlar at Dorset Shellfish, then with Simon, Jen and Jess outside The Beekeeper on Portland.

It makes such a difference taking the time to get to know people properly. Listening, asking questions, understanding what makes their business tick and what they're trying to achieve.

Some of the best ideas come from conversations, cups of coffee (and delicious cake 😁), a wander around a business, and the chats that help turn a rough idea into something genuinely unique – something our customers love and their customers engage with.

We're lucky to work with some brilliant people who trust us to bring their ideas to life and still value the human side of doing business.💙

When Goulds Garden Centre decided to close their online store, there was one big question… how do we get people visiting the new website? 🤔

Me: “Leave it with me.” 👨🏻‍💻

First job? Convincing Vikki (Head of Marketing) that seasonal guides were the way forward. Thankfully, she needed little convincing! 😆

From there, I built a fully bespoke page template that’s simple, quick and easy to update. Because let’s be honest… Vikki’s busy enough without worrying about complicated website edits!

After a little training and support, Vikki can now add fresh seasonal guides herself in no time at all, keeping content useful, relevant and perfectly timed throughout the year. 🙌

The result? Helpful content for customers, regular fresh updates for Google, and a website that keeps working long after launch. 🤩👍🏻

Another fun (and very full-on!) week covering the wonderful Sherborne Abbey Festival 🎶✨

Every year we come away a bit blown away by the sheer standard and variety of it all – from local schools and ensembles right through to absolutely world-class concerts. It really is awesome in the truest sense of the word.

And then there are all the lovely people behind it. From the organisers and volunteers to the familiar faces we’ve got to know over the years, it’s always an absolute delight to pick up right where we left off. (Special shoutout to our lovely Liz for feeding us like kings and snapping this pic! 😘)

We’ve loved being part of it again this year and really hope we’ve done it justice.
