We're thrilled to launch our brand-new Kids Art Club at New Mills Youth Centre!

🗓 Every Thursday | 6:30 PM – 8:00 PM
📍Open to students in Year 5 to Year 9 £3 per session.

Join us for weekly creative sessions where we'll dive into a variety of artists, exciting projects, and different materials — all in a fun, supportive environment. Come along make some art and new friends!

For older students, we’re also introducing a Coursework Corner: a dedicated space for Year 10 and 11 GCSE Art students to focus on their projects, share ideas, and create together — no more working at the kitchen table! Free to attend for year 10/11.

Let’s take a breath and say it clearly:

👉 It’s okay to want to be seen.
👉 It’s okay to want recognition, connection, and visibility.
👉 It doesn’t make you attention-seeking, too much, or “doing it wrong.”

For so many of us being seen can feel like a risk. Like something you have to apologise for wanting. But you’re allowed to take up space, exactly as you are. In fact, its vital you do 💜
