Of all the kinfire games, council was the one I had the least interest in. But having also tried chronicles and two of the delve games this week, I think council is easily and surprisingly my favourite. Beautifully thinky without feeling overwhelming or any individual aspect being at all complicated. This warrants many more plays to see the depth and robustness available.
I've seen comments that it's heavier, modern waterdeep. I totally see it, though this is such a step beyond with so many lovely twists and balances to consider.
The presentation is exceptional even before using the deluxe pieces.
Very much looking forward to exploring this more.

A cozy 3 hours spent exploring the new planet presented in from and
We had a lot of fun and managed both the mission and a destiny and enjoyed seeing what there was to find. Barely scratched the surface of the content and we're looking forward to driving back in.
It has moments of tension and we were lucky to be able to carry on at one point when we thought we'd lost it, but otherwise it was more interesting and exciting than tense. That you always succeed but have to see what befalls you along the way gives a very comfortable and engaging gaming experience.
Working as the two of us felt right, maybe a third to give more dice mitigation but our instinct is that this will be it's best at lower player counts. That said, that's all we've tried so we shall have to see.

Cannot get enough of this game! Even though we crumbled at the last, still lots of tension and excitement. Can't seem to win, but have so much fun every single time I play. War of the Ring the card game is such an excellent experience. May not be for everyone but it is certainly for me.

This is so fast as a solo! Win the tie but it was the easiest setting possible. Gonna need to think much more to do well...

This is so fast as a solo! Win the tie but it was the easiest setting possible. Gonna need to think much more to do well at this. Still, a lot of fun just putting out fish and playing with the excellent upgrade components.
Really simple and fun design, I think this is the span for me.
Looking forward to teaching this tomorrow. Hopefully I can do better.
