πŸ’‘ Did you know that Innovation is at the core of everything we do at Global Invacom? All of our products are carefully designed and built to keep up with the pace of change across the satcoms industry.

Here is what makes us especially innovative:

➑️ We design to the highest standards

Our solutions are always designed to meet or exceed the highest standards, including NATO STANAG, MIL-STD, and RED. We design and build products for multiple bands, including L, S, C, X, Ku, and Ka, bands. Rapid deploy and flyaway systems are enabling our defence customers in particular to get setup fast in operational environments.

➑️ We evolve with the fast pace of change

Satcoms is evolving fast, which means the ground segment providers need to be able to evolve and adapt to that fast pace of change. We design solutions for multi-orbit, multi-frequency, and multi-network. We are also enabling our customers to meet new demands with signal tracking and software-defined capabilities.

➑️ We design the complete ground system

At Global Invacom, we don’t just make products, we can design the complete ground system based on very individual needs. Building on our long heritage in this industry and in-house expertise, we can build a bespoke system with the elements needed for each use case. And because our products are fully integrated systems, they are easy to deploy, removing the complexity often associated with ground segment equipment.

Our CTO, Robert Potter, took to the stage for Satuccino at Defence In Space yesterday to highlight the benefits of transceiver technology.

In a world where attention is firmly on the defence market, satellite connectivity is integral for forces everywhere. Transceiver technology is highly flexible and lowers costs by integrating the multiple complex functions of the RF chain and therefore lowering procurement, testing and assembly costs.

Our XRJ transceiver is optimized for the demanding government and defence market and covers the full extended Ka-band range in both receive and transmit. The most powerful transceiver on the market with 25 Watts of power, it supports GEO, MEO and LEO connectivity for any application, on land, sea and air.

Thanks to the organisers of Defence In Space for the opportunity to present. We were pleased to take part in such a thriving event and we look forward to attending next year! hashtag

Getting to grips with satcom? πŸ›°οΈ

In recent years we have seen a huge rise in the launch and use non-GSO satellites. But what does that mean for the end-user? In this video we explain what makes the orbits different, how their capabilities are affected, and why this alters how they should be utilised.

The challenges facing spectrum management πŸ’‘πŸ“‘

A busier-than-ever landscape, complex multi-orbit offerings, newly-instated software defined technologies, and a regulatory/licensing environment designed for a different era: these are some of the hurdles facing the satcom industry's management of spectrum.

Satcom is built on spectrum, yet its management at the ground is often less spoken about than exciting launches and in-orbit events. Our latest blog post explains how the ground is fundamental to the success of satcom and how these challenges are having an impact on networks.
