We’re so proud to be supporting Halton Haven Hospice as our Charity of the Year, and our amazing colleagues have been getting stuck in with everything from bake sales to, all to raise vital funds for this incredible local cause.

And the efforts just keep coming…

On 28th July, our colleague Richard, a Joiner at Halton Housing, will be taking on the Lakeland 50, one of the toughest ultra trail events in Europe, to raise even more for Halton Haven Hospice. 🏃‍♂️💪

Making a difference together! 👏

Last week, we teamed up for one of our Spruce Up Your Streets in Runcorn Old Town - and what a fantastic turnout we had!

A huge thank you to Patrick and Elliot from Legacie (the contractors working on Mercia Place), local volunteer Chris, and the amazing 35 children from All Saints Primary School who all rolled up their sleeves to help.

Seven fearless Halton Housing colleagues took on a 150ft abseil down Liverpool Cathedral and raised an amazing £1,895 for Halton Haven Hospice. 🧗‍♀️💜

Have you seen the Dukesfield Viaduct Murals yet? 🎨

These stunning large-scale artworks are transforming the iconic railway pillars beneath the Silver Jubilee Bridge into a vibrant outdoor gallery.

Join the free community celebration on Saturday 26th July 2025, from 1–5pm. Explore the murals, take part in creative activities, and uncover the powerful local history behind each piece.

This project is part of Reconnecting Runcorn, and we’re proud to be involved through our new independent living scheme, Mercia Place—one of 15 initiatives funded by the UK Government’s £23.6m Towns Fund, aimed at revitalising the town through improved public spaces, cultural investment, and community-led regeneration.

On Saturday 26 July, a free community event will be taking place to celebrate the completion of the Dukesfield Viaduct Murals.

Taking place between 1-5pm, there will be guided tours, mini-mural making workshops, an evening celebration at Society Ltd Hip Hop Night and much more.
