Our Spruce Up Your Street initiative continued its fantastic work last week as our teams, with support from AKM Homes, got stuck into transforming the communal area at Suffolk Place in Widnes. It was a tough task — but the team absolutely delivered!

✅ Cleared overgrown greenery
✅ Tidied and refreshed the space
✅ Filled a full skip with unwanted items
✅ Installed 2 benches and 2 planters to enhance the area

A huge thank you to AKM Homes for their support — providing the skip as part of their social value commitment and joining us on-site. The area is now much more welcoming for residents, and we’re proud of what we achieved together.

Join us for our Estate Walkabout & Spruce Up Your Streets event next week on Thursday, 11th September, starting at 9.45 am at the corner of Thirlmere Way and Coronation Drive.

🧹 We’ll be walking the estate, tackling local issues, and doing a litter pick together.
🎨 On Friday 12 September, we’re back at Suffolk Place Communal Area from 10 am – 12 pm for fence painting and maintenance, and will be supported by AKM Homes.

Our initiative is helping ease the financial pressure and ensure every child starts the school year with confidence. 💙
