This is my latest find from the archives! I remember being somewhat overrun by various other musical projects and deadlines at the time, and just wanting to create something from sounds and samples that I liked, but also with no pressure. I chopped and changed, cut and pasted...and I loved every moment of it. It's a dreamy track, and I used the Daft Punk style of arrangement with low pass filters.

Put together some time around 2010 at Beech Hall Studio, Wigan. I do not own the rights to any of this music, it was done simply for fun, and I enjoyed every...

I wrote this track about 15 years ago, and this is the demo of it. It was rejected by Grassroots for being "too indie". No worries, it was; we rocked pretty hard. I was also in a music production duo with Sharkey at the time, but as I'd done the tune all by myself, it didn't seem fair to put it out as an USMEN track. So, like many bits and bats, it got left on a hard drive and was forgotten about. When I moved at Christmas, I spent about 3 months going through each and every CD that I have, and it was on a burned one named 'Kev's old tunes #2', along with many other forgotten gems (and some s**t ones ☺️). I think it's a decent track. Here's a video I've enjoyed putting together for it.
Starring Mr Dickens of course 😼

This track was one of the first tracks that I completed. I got a pen drive with a load of acapellas on and decided to do a chilled out mix of an old skool rave classic. This was over 20 years ago, and it somehow got lost along the way. Since moving house at Christmas, I have discovered a lot of my old work, and with being laid up with a broken arm, I have decided to learn how to use Powerdirector. I'm really chuffed with how this has turned out.

As I'm laid up like a loser, with quite a bad broken arm, can't work or do much for myself but, my fingers are fine, so I'm keeping my mind occupied by putting some of my old, unreleased tracks to video, and learning Powerdirector... and it's bloody hard work! Great fun though πŸ™‚. The only thing is, a great majority of my gallery vids are of my cat, and not much else!

Anyway, here's the first one (a few more to come): a bluesy, dreamy, groovy kind of jam with just two guitars, a bass, some funky ass drums and a nice vocal sample.
A simple celebration of the Fender Stratocaster.

A constant work in progress, but some sage advice. πŸ‘ŒπŸΌ
