Festive Break Update

Our mediation team will be finishing for Christmas after 23rd December and will be back on 5th January.

I’m Lee, a trustee at TalkFIRST and I know first-hand that Christmas with separated parents can be tough.

For years, arranging time with my daughter over the holidays has been emotional, stressful, and honestly… heartbreaking at times. She’s 6 now, and while things aren’t perfect, we’ve come a long way. There’s more calm, more understanding, and more moments we all get to enjoy. And that progress means everything.

If you’re in the middle of those same struggles right now, trying to balance feelings, family, and what’s best for your child, I see you! It’s exhausting, and it can feel incredibly lonely.

But you don’t have to go through it alone.

TalkFIRST helps parents communicate better, reduce conflict, and put children first. Mediation was a turning point for me, and it could be for you too. Not overnight, not magically… but step by step, towards a Christmas that feels a bit lighter.

If you’re finding this time of year difficult, please reach out.

Tou-Can Group for Parents and Children - Ince Community Centre🧸🧩

We’ve had some brilliant sessions recently — lots of smiles, messy play, crafts, new friendships and plenty of energy from our little superstars! ✨

If you’re in the Ince area and looking for a warm, welcoming space to come and play with your little one, we’d love to see you. Sessions are every Wednesday 9am - 11.30am.
